What is a better diet to go on to lose weight fast Atkins or Vegitarian.?

Also who do you think would win in a fight between the two? lol jk but I am 30 year old male about 230 pounds and want to lose weight fast. I love meat but have been a miserable vegitarian for 3 weeks now and am looking for a diet more my style. If you have any other diets that work please let me know thanks.

    Neither are healthy. I tried both. They didn’t work. Be an omnivore and eat things in moderation, not excuding entire foods. This is reasonable and is consistent with human physiology.

    I’ve found the vegetarian lifestyle can be very unhealthy. You need protein and it’s tricky trying to get enough on a vegetarian diet.

    I’m not a fan of Fatkins (Atkins) either.

    Eat a diet of fruits, veggies, lean meat and low-fat dairy. Just try to keep it natural and healthy, and you should lose weight.

    Weight loss is simple, you need to burn more calories than you consume. Keep in mind it’s not just about diet. Diet burns mostly visceral fat (the fat between your organs.) Exercise burns mostly subcutaneous fat (the fat under your skin.) You need reduce both to be healthy.

    Also, when dieting you may lose muscle mass as well as fat, which is another reason why exercise and getting enough protein is important. It’ll help you keep your muscle while burning fat.

    PLEASE don’t go on the atkins diet. National health website will tell you that it’s a SCAM and very dangerous for your health. Becoming a vegitarian isn’t so bad, but your body can’t survive without protien and carbs, so you need to find some kind of source. Honestly, diets don’t work and you don’t need to go on one. I understand the want to lose weight, but I’ve found that the most successful key to weight loss is simply eating more healthy, and lessening your intake of junk food and fast food. You can still have treats, say, once a week as a reward, just watch yourself.
    On top of that, you should get some light exercise 5 days a week. Try going for a 30 minute walk.
