How many calories a day should a really healthy person get?
I really want to lose weight and so I want to count my calories but I don’t know how many I should get in a day. Can someone please tell me?

it varys but its usually around 2000 for girls and 2500 for boys.
one pound = 3500 calories. so every 3500 calorie decrease = 1 pound of weight loss. for example.. eating 1500 calories a day (500 calorie per day decrease) will make you lose 1 pound a week.

Actually it completely depends on your body type and your activity level.
A large, muscular body builder who worksout a lot may require 3000.
A cross country skier or hiker going all day may need even 4000 or more.
A sedentery person or average activity person usually needs around 2000 ish.
Google calorie calculator and you’ll get some that will tell you based on your activity level how much you need.
