If you drank 4 bottles of water a day and one, small meal, would you lose weight fast? Is this healthy?

I have a friend who needs to lose weight fast, and she doesn’t know how to do it; is this a healthy diet?

    She may be able to lose the weight, but the water retention will be pretty bad. Not healthy at all.

    no!!!! You need at least 32 ounces of water. It is even a better thing to take your weight cut it in half and that is how many ounces of water you should drink. Exercise is always good for your body. Eating only one small meal is not healthy and may actually make you gain weight as it slows your metabolism.

    i have an eating disorder and its a living hell.
    make sure she eats at least 1200 calories a day.

    No, it is recommended that women shouldn’t eat less than 1200 calories per day. On top of that, you should be drinking more water than just 4 bottles. Closer to 8 bottles of water. It’s recommended that you should drink about 1 gallon of water a day. 1 meal a day won’t get you any where close to the amount of calories your body needs to keep going.

    your friends diet will put her into a starving mode which will in turn store fat and retain water which will make you appear larger. although not the healthiest diet to be on the low carb diet is best for losing 5-10lbs within days. eat no more then 20 grams of carbs per day and you will lose 1-2lbs per day..this is only a temporary fix that should not be done for longer then 2 weeks but the results are quite amazing. i do this a few times yearly and my skin basically all gets sucked in cause of the water loss and it really makes you appear very slender.

    No, it’s not healthy at all. When you eat just one time per day your body see as there is no food and start to go into starvation mode which is to try to storage as much as possible which means the food that she will consume will become FAT.

    The ideal will be to have a balance diet with protein, carbs and fiber and spread out in 5 to 6 times a day.

    Drinking water is very good.
