What is an effective way to lose weight and build my strength and muscle?

I am 14 years old and am fleshy but not fat (i am 4kg over my ideal weight). I find sporting activities difficult and find general exercise unrewarding. What is a good way to lose weight without using the gym but a convenient exercise regime that i can use at home. i would like to build definition on my body rather than the shapeless body i have now.

    As your body is still changing i would keep to healthy eating and stay off fats and most sugary things. For exercise there are lots of DvDs that you could choose from and do them in your own home. try the library they stock them and you could try all sorts.

    First of all… See your doctor before you take any instructions from anyone… When your under the age of 18 your body needs certain nutrition to help you develp… One key is to drink plenty of water and EAT! That’s right i said eat!!!! Have breakfast lunch and dinner and small snacks in between… This will help speed up your metabolism… I hope this helps!

    im 14 also and weigh around 72 pounds. the best way to lose weight is convert eating food to drinking protein.for building muscle try adding glutamine and or creatine with milk but for losing weight mix it with water. you can purchase these things at just walmart or the nutri shop if you have one where you live.Since the gym is not an option try pullups situps and pushups every day until you cant do any more. trust me , doing these exercises will help you in the future.
