I’m a 15 year old girl. I’m 5’7″ and I weigh about 147 pounds. I’m not overweight but I really want too lose some weight off of my stomach, thighs, and butt.Can anyone give me some specific suggestions on how to do that??

you can go running in your park or neighborhood with your ipod/mp3 player to just lose wight and work your legs..
–we did this and soccer and it works your stomach:
you get a friend to help you and you lay down on your back and your head is between their legs and you hold on to their ankles and you put your legs straight up.
then your friend will take your legs and push them down to the floor but your feet/legs cannot touch the floor and then your bring your legs up and do it again and again.

You could go to curves and they’ll come up with a diet for you for free. And if you want to go the extra step, you can join and use their gyms for $44 dollars a month.

Exercises and eating healthy. There is no quick fix to weight lose. Just do exercises that are meant for weight lose in those areas, aerobics and swimming are always good.

I’m assuming you go to highschool. So I am sure you have a weightlifting room! 😀 You probably could go in after school to workout for free, as well as start a healthy diet. You could even try signing up for your weightlifting class. My partner is about your weight and has already lost 11 pounds, maybe more by now. (but out class is INTENSE, no lie O_o)
start jogging after school everyday, or even walking.

Look at your diet…see if there is any bad food you should cut out. Eat an egg with spinach for breakfast instead of a sugary cereal. Eat more fruits and vegetables and eat leaner meats like turkey. Never skip a meal because this never helps in the long run. Drink lots of water (32 oz. a day) to help flush toxins out of your body.
Exercise. crunches to help tone your stomach. Lunges for your thighs and butt. If you need more ideas there is a multitude of videos on youtube for various exercise moves to tone whatever body part you want……hope this helps 🙂

No you’re not overweight at all. I can tell you from years of dieting, if you start doing this you’ll ruin your metabolism and you’ll end up yo yo dieting. You’ll loose 10 pounds and gain it back, loose and regain. Eventually for every 10 pounds you loose you’ll regain the 10 plus more. Rather than seeking to loose weight why don’t you try toning up your muscles with aerobics and light girlie weights, you’ll look and feel better and won’t get stuck on the dieting merry go round. Eat plenty of lean protein like chicken & fish, beans or lentils, lots of veggies and fruits, stay away from junk food and sweets and you’ll do fine and keep your metabolism in good working order.
