what are some ways a 13 year old can loose Weight fast?

Im 13 and i am way over weight. Ive tried exercising and dieting and nothing seems to work. is there any thing else you might know of to help me loose weight?

    Well just think. Work out. Go on a diet. That is the only way to do it. And yes it will NOT be fun.

    Drink lots of water.
    At least 2-3 bottles a day.
    If its hot try even running.
    This one guy ate taco bell and lost 6 pounds of poop!

    Eliptical machines are very good to, helps to tone your legs.

    You need to change your lifestyle. Start eating healthy, don’t think of it as a diet. Diets never really work. And keep exercising, play outside, start playing sports at school. There are a lot of physical activities out there, its just hard getting started. So find a buddy and just do it. And eventually eating healthy and getting exercise to stay fit will just be what you do. Good luck! You can do it. =)

    that is the ONLY way to do it, all that means is your not dieting correctly or strict enough, or your not exercising enough. When your on a diet to lose weight and fat, you CANT EAT ANY of those sugary packaged things you enjoy, cookies,candy,ice cream, pizza toss it all. you have to eat Lean proteins like chicken,salmon,tuna, turkey, and Eggs! hard boiled eggs. you must eat lots of veggies and fruits also they fill you up, have lots of nutritional benefits and are low calorie, and drink 8 glasses of water a day minimum. diet is 70% of losing weight. Then you must exercise, Cardiovascular exercise, like Runnng or Jump roping are best for atleast half an hour 5 days a week. at this rate you can lose up to 10 pounds in a month.

    My mom is a personal trainer and is friends with Jillian Michaels. So, many people say to drink tons of water a day but too much water actually makes you gain weight. Drink enough water depending on the amount of exercise you are doing. If you’re not big into exercising do it in a fun way. Do wii fit, go to the gym with friends (just don’t pass out like i did), go for a nice walk in the park with a buddy. All of these things are fun and are a nice way for someone your age to loose weight. You don’t want to be doing all of the crazy gym stuff like spinning classes, stepping classes, etc. Take it slow! And make sure you’re having fun because it’ll keep you going.

    For breakfast have yourself something small like a slice of bread with peanut butter or jelly
    For lunch make yourself a sandwich with plenty of veggies
    For dinner eat a small portion of food that your mom or dad,grandma,grandpa,aunt,uncle etc. makes
    For a midnight snack i recommend either fruit or string cheese.

    But before you eat DRINK WATER! this is important!!!

    also walk your dog or walk around. have your parent or guardian take you to a park or something and go running or walking Getting active is important and dont cheat on this dont eat cheeseburgers or stuff like that!! when you start losing the weight do small excersices like situps that helps but you could also do that while being on this little diet.

    OK. First of all NO. The only way to lose weight is working out and dieting unless you are gonna get plastic surgery. Im 15 and I know what its like being an overweight 13 year old- not fun.so instead of wasting your summer looking up ways to get skinny fast while you sit around gaining more weight, you should start out by slowly changing your diet and adding small workouts to your week.Try not eating any fried foods or any overly sweet dessert and SWITCH them for baked foods and fruit.It took me two years to get to a healthy weight and not because dieting didn’t work, because i kept giving up and now im still trying to get healthier…idk if this would even help haha

    If you are really desperate to lose weight fast, I suggest you try Atkins diet. Like other low-carb diets, you limit your daily carbohydrate intake, in this diet 20g.

    Between the first 2-5 days, you will notice a rapid weight loss which will be water weight as carbohydrate tends to encourage your body to store more water, the weight loss will be 2-5 lbs in most cases but maybe higher for others.

    You are not allowed to have fruit, sugar or carbs such as bread and pasta during the first part of the diet (aka induction phase), your 20g allowance should be mostly spent on non-starchy vegetables. You can consume a liberal amount of meat, and by this I mean no restriction but don’t over-eat, nothing is good when you over-eat. When you have reduced your body weight to a suitable level the restriction is relaxed but still you should be aware of your carb intake, this is called the maintenance phase, make sure you do not over-consume carbohydrate and don’t over-eat. Also for this diet to work most effectively you should drink 8 or more glasses of water per day.

    I must warn you this diet may not be healthy at all especially to a 13-year-old, but can definitely result in rapid weight loss.
