I have this event for church, and I want to lose weight fast for it. What should I do?

The event is a formal event, and I want to look great in the dress. What should I do in order to lose weight for the event, as well as keep the same routine going to keep the weight off. Also, I am on birth control, and I heard that it gains weight, so what should I do?

You are not thinking rightly on this one. First of all, you don’t lose weight just to fit into a dress for a dance. You work at keeping healthy; eating right, exercising, drinking water, etc.

Second, yes the birth control pill makes some people gain weight. You have one choice, go off of it and then you and your husband will have to be very responsible with birth control methods you use instead of the pill.

If you lose weight in a healthy way, you will keep it off, if not, you will gain it back and then some.

Forget the quick fix for this event, use your head and do it right. Do you think God would want you to abuse your body?

You didn’t put that weight on overnight, and you can’t lose it quickly, either.

Talk with your doctor about a healthy diet and about possibly changing your prescription to one that may not affect your weight.

Eat healthy like a bannana for breakfast, cottage cheese and an apple for lunch, and veggies for dinner. Drink lots of water to keep your brain sharp and get lots of sleep.Water and sleep will also help your skin. Keep up the good work!

I have a diet that works wonders but you have to stick to it religiously. It involves eating more not less. Believe it or not. More times a day and but smaller portions. here goes: six meals a day
1st: 3 eggs no yolk 2-8ounce glasses of water
2nd: small fruit-preferbly grapefruit and low fat cottage cheese
3rd; grilled chicken sandwich on wheat, with lettuce and tomato if prefered low fat mayo for the dressing(not from fast food rest.
4th; tuna sandwich on wheat also with lettuce and tomato
5th low fat yougurt Dasani makes a good one.
6th: chicken sandwich or a fish sandwhich not fried but baked.
ALL MEALS MUST NOT BE MORE THAT THE SIZE OF YOUR HAND!!! YOU MUST INCLUDE 2 – 8 OUNCE GLASSES OF WATER PER MEAL…AFTER THREE DAYS YOU WILL SEE AND FEEL THE DIFFERENCE!!! THIS CAN BE A SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM DIET. iF YOU STAY WITH THIS DIET FOR MORE THAN TWO WEEKS …THEN EVERY SEVENTH DAY YOU CAN EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT…YES WHATEVER YOU WANT.PIZZA BURGERS CAKE…BUT TRUST ME YOU REALLY WONT WANT TO. GOOD LUCK

Well, for starters, you may have to stop the birth control until you lose the weight. Just start a good eating plan with lots of fruits and vegetables and lean meats and chicken. Start a walking program and walk at a brisk pace for 15-30 minutes a day for 3 or 4 times a week. Drink plenty of water and stay away from soda and fast food. I’m a boxing trainer and i see a lot of fighters mess their diet up by drinking soda. It really has no health benefits and it’s high in sugar, which turns into fat. You can also work out with light weights and do a lot of reps to get toned up. My question for you is how much time do you have before your church event? If i knew i could probably give you some specific exercises that could help you lose weight faster. Good luck and i hope you reach your goal!
