How do I lose fat in my thighs?

I work out regularly and do a lot of treadmill/elliptical type exercises for my legs, and while I have been gaining muscle (which is good) the fat on top of the muscle is still there, so instead of my legs looking more toned, they just look even bigger than before. I have always had big thighs for my body type and was hoping to lose some fat in them…any ideas?

    run or swim. it gets rid of the fat on top!
    try maybe running 4 days a week for 15minutes
    then 3 days a week for 20 minutes
    then just run as long as you can/want!

    swimming is also really good. just do laps in the pool.
    both tone your entire body!

    For thighs I would recommend the stairclimber. It will really work your thighs (but don’t hang on to the rail, otherwise you won’t maximize your workout…)

    Also you could try pilates to tone your thighs. Either way you’ll see results soon!
