They fluctuate. They will starve and get weak and lose a few pounds, then gain it right back when they binge. They usually look sickly and have poor health.

depends on how tall you are and your body frame. at first you’ll lose it fast but then really slowly because it kills your metabolism. I’m a recovering anorexic/bulimic and it’s so not worth it because it makes it so much easier to gain the weight back and you just want food even more.
But you won’t loose weight very fast, maybe the first 5 pounds but not too fast after that unless you’re like 200+

I am a recovering anorexic as well and when someone is anorexic it happens slowly by restricting calories a little bit more and a little but more everyday. If you are talking about just completely stop eating all of a sudden you will lose about 1 pound for each day you don’t eat.

Once they die of starvation, they lose weight pretty quick. Ask Karen Carpenter.

Sweetheart… I weigh approx. 145, too. I USED to be anorexic & I was bulimic for awhile as well. Don’t do it, seriously it’s not good for you AT ALL. You know how EVERY person has gag reflexes? Well I don’t anymore, they’re gone, they don’t even exist in my body anymore. You honestly don’t have a good reason to become anorexic & I don’t believe anyone should be telling you how to do it or how long it takes. It’s not worth all the damage it does to your body, cause it’s not just physical & internal damage, it’s emotional damage as well, & trust me honey you don’t want the extra baggage. I still think I’m fat, since I used to weigh about 110 only two years ago, but I realized that what I was doing was WRONG & now I stick to just gradually trying to lose the weight with dieting & exercising. Trust me, if you do it correctly then it’ll work.

for starters, anorexia is the loss of appetite a person experiences which results in them losing body mass, anorexia nervosa is a disease where a person believes bad things will come if they eat thus causing them to lose body mass.
when i was on different medication, anorexia was a side effect, and in one case in one week i lost body mass equivalent to 4kilo’s. this body mass was not fat. it was muscle. muscle mass will deteriorate before fat cells break down. i was a small person before i had anorexia – i only weighed 47kilo’s so a 4kilo loss in a week was a major concern.
if you are a larger person it is indeterminable how much mass you would lose if you suffered from anorexia or anorexia nervosa.

Um, anorexia IS bad. There, I said it. That’s wrong and you shouldn’t be asking about it. I was anorexic and lost it VERY quickly. I lost 30+ pounds in one summer and it was NOT fun. I was losing hair, dizzy, cold all the time… And getting better was hell, too.
