How can I start a Vegan diet effectively specifically to lose weight fast?

I’m sick of being 252 lbs. Looking to drop down to 200. How can I do this by eating vegan food. Any good diet plans available on the web? I’ve been looking all over! The Paleo Diet also seemed like something that would work.

    Vegetables and iron piles. Thats it! But I would exercise too.
    However, going on a vegan “diet” isn’t the best idea to lose weight. I really need iron when working out, otherwise you’ll find yourself being really weak. I would talk to your doctor – they can REALLY help. The next best person to talk to is a fitness trainer/nutritionist.

    Going vegan will not necessarily help you to lose weight, as there are still fatty vegan foods. If you want to lose weight fast, try to restrict your calories to about 1500 and workout every day to burn atleast half of that. The advantage of being overweight and starting a weight loss plan is that you tend to lose weight faster than a person at a “normal weight.” Use this to your advantage and do things to kick start your metabolism, like eating spicy foods, putting cinnamon on sweet foods, exercising, etc. But at the same time, make sure you treat yourself to the foods you like, just with a reduced calorie. For example, if you like ice cream, instead of cutting it out all together, buy low fat frozen yogurt or light ice cream. This will reduce your chances of binging in the long run.
