Go to the gym every morning, and eat healthfully.

Start jogging. After about 30 minutes, you start burning fat instead of carbohydrates.

    Afterwards eat protein to recover.

At 183 you are already within the normal weight range, so be careful about doing anything drastic.

Other than long distance aerobic exercise, I don’t know of anything that burns fat and spares muscle.

Working out is only half of the battle. You should also be eating healthy foods. Limit your sugar and bad (trans and saturated) fat intake. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Drink a lot of water each day (8 glasses is recommended), and get plenty of sleep, as the body heals itself and burns calories while at rest.

    Good luck!

Continue to train as you have been but increase the tempo. Only rest for 90 seconds at most in between sets. You could also try circuit training for your weight lifting.

To speed up your fat loss, perform some form of cardio, in the morning, for 30-45 minutes while keeping your heart rate at about 140 beats per minute. This may not seem like a lot, but it is the ideal range for fat loss. If you are working any harder you will be training for endurance and not fat loss. Do your cardio exercise before breakfast, and eat after doing cardio.
