What’s the best diet for losing belly fat and building muscle at the same time?
I have some belly fat that I want to get rid of. But I also want to build muscle at the same time. What kind of diet should I follow? I was thinking low-carb and high-protein but I am worried if the low-carb hurts the muscle building and the high-protein will add more fat in the waist region. Please suggest. I am doing weight training and cardio every day. I am 31 male and average built. Thanks.

Do not starve yourself. Eat less carbs, and eat lots of protein. Get lots of exercize and try working out for 5-10 minutes RIGHT before you go to bed.

First look at your diet, do you eat lots of high calorie and high carb stuff? Like white bread, deep fried meat, and most precessed food. Try eating Wheat Wheat Bread, going out to restaurants less, and adding more meat and fruits into your diet. If you snack a lot (chips, Cheetos, anything that comes in a bag and is crunchy) That is a big factor in slowing down weight loss, and eventually wearing down your will to keep going on with the diet. The most easy way to do this is not thinking it as a diet, but just as a new way of eating. It’s okay to have the occasional junk food. Just not on a regular basis.

Hi Kiran n. I am exactly the same as you. I have been big all my life and recently decided to lose weight. I have tried starving myself, which worked for a while but then i regained all the weight back.

There are so many things out there that can help you. The thing you have to do is find what you can commit to and stick with it. It will take some time, but the results will be worth it if you can be consistent.

you just need to get some cardio going. Weightlossdiscs are excellent as they have no joint
