    eat small quantities but regular and try not to mix too much carb and protein in any one meal…do not deny yourself too much, just eat less of the bad stuff…that way you wont feel you are dieting,…just eating sensibly

    u could exercise…run around the block a few times, burn it off

    if u eat a sandwhich run the block
    if u eat a steak run the block and do 100 crunches
    if u eat a cake run the block do 100 crunches and 90 push ups (3 sets of 30)

    u can basically eat anything u want as long as ur calorie expendiure is more than ur calorie gain, and u will loose weight

    Drink at leat 2 litres of water per day.
    Exercise – anything that makes your heart rate increase or makes you breathless is good aerobic exercise.
    Do NOT start any stupid fad diet that cuts out a food group totally as this is a very unhealthy way to diet.

    make a rule that u will take two glass of water before any meal and their is one way if u can take two dates and one glass of milk in breakfast and same in the lunch and make it double in the dinner believe me u will reduce in one week try it but do not take any thing with these for a week

    Try not to eat red meat that much. Eat salads. only drink liquids with 0 calories. diet soda water. don’t eat anything that is fried. cut out carbs. If you manage to keep every meal under 500 calories you will loose weight quick. I lost 30lbs in one month without exercise like that.

    I’d try a low-carb diet, it’s easier and you won’t feel hungry and the desire to eat will decrease. Also you can use green tea pills that boost your metabolism (or just the green tea, but i personally hate it, bleah). The pills are much more concentrated though and I don’t think they are very expensive. There are some strict diets that promise a very fast weight loss, but after you can gain if you don’t take care. But I know that results are so motivating that i would take the chance of a rapid diet. Also taking Vitamin C helps, it interferes in the metabolic process. And magnesium and calcium can help prevent fat from sticking to your body (I used to take those suppliments before bed) Trust me, it helped, I read articles about it and all 🙂 all my life i wanted to be slim. Whatever you do, good luck with losing weight!

    The old Grapefruit Diet has been floating around for a long time. Its popularity for so many years can be attributed to pseudo-science and good marketing copy. This is one of those fad diets that you can use to drop some quick pounds, but, like all fad diets, you need to recognize that it’s deficient nutritionally and that you’ll gain back what you lose as soon as you get off the diet IF you return to your old eating habits.

    It’s pretty much agreed by the Grapefruit Diet gurus that most people who try the program for a week or two will probably lose somewhere between 12 and 20 pounds.

    Below is a typical day on the Grapefruit Diet
    Half a grapefruit and plain coffee or tea [Note from Chet: I recommend that you give up coffee for good.]

    Half a grapefruit plus two eggs
    Cucumber and tomato salad with vinegar, lemon and herbs dressing
    One piece of dry melba toast and plain tea or water

    Half a grapefruit
    4-6 ounces of chicken or beef or ham slices
    Half a head of lettuce and a tomato with vinegar, lemon and herbs dressing
    Plain tea or water

    With a diet this restrictive — eating fewer that 800 calories a day — you can see why you’d lose weight. You can also see how nutritionally deficient this program is. And talk about boring. Phew.

    This is a diet but if you want to lose weight and look thinner, healthy and fit you have to follow these simple advices:

    1. Lots of vegetables and fruits

    2. Increase healthy protein intake. This is how you build lean muscle tissue, which in turn speeds up your metabolism. Examples are fish, lean meats, low-fat dairy products, beans, and soy products.

    3. Fiber-Rich foods. They will fill up and they make they are satisfying. In this category are: peas, beans, bran cereals, potato skins, nuts and seeds, oatmeal, bulger wheat, 100% whole wheat baked goods, fruits and vegetables.

    4. Minerals. Calcium and other minerals are you “secret weapons” against body fat. They are found in low-fat dairy products, small or canned fish, soy tofu, green vegetables, nuts, seeds, bran cereals, and calcium fortified orange juice, and avoid processed, salt-loaded foods.

    5. Eat fish and beneficial fats. Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acid in some fish, oils and nuts is a good fat. Eat moderate amounts of salmon, herring, mackerel, sardines and other oily fish. Soybeans, nuts, pumpkin seed are also excellent sources for Omega-3.

    6. Reduce harmful fats – saturated and trans fats. These are not only high in calories; they are also loaded with harmful fatty acids that cause disease.

    7. Always eat an adequate breakfast for several reasons: it will speed up your metabolism earlier in the day and when you skip breakfast, it makes it harder to control your appetite later in the day.

    8. Cut back or eliminate alcohol. It is high in non-filling calories. Ideal consumption is one glass of beer or wine a day.

    9. Stay away from junk carbohydrates – sugar and white flour are diet killers in all but the smallest amounts.

    10. Gradually reduce your calorie intake because extreme and sudden dieting causes your body to conserve, not burn calories, and it slows fat loss.

    11. Snack instead of eating large meals – larger, higher calorie meals tend to be stored as fat, instead of burned for energy. Ideally, you should eat five or six smaller, nutritious snacks each day instead of large meals.

    12. Move! You must exercise to build lean tissue that burns fat. As little as two to three hours per week of brisk walking at minimum, and you will notice a major impact on your weight loss.

    13. Reduce stress. It produces adverse fat-producing chemistry in your body. Try warm baths, meditation, deep breathing, stretching, massage, prayer and rest.

    14. Get outside into the sunshine at lest 20 minutes per day – the vitamin D you get from sunshine works with calcium for health and body fat control.

    Only one thing you can do to loose weight my friend, and that is, make sure your calorie intake is lower than the amount you burn off, in other words, eat less and exercise more. Anything else in just nonsense and won’t work reliably. I have been trying things for years and, believe me, any excuse to trust the next “wonder cure” has been welcomed by me with open arms. My partner left me about 4 months ago. I was depressed and stopped eating. (I don’t suggest you stop eating all together, I just couldn’t eat). I used this “head-start” to set me up an a low carb, high in fibre diet combined with exercise. I lost almost 2 stone since, and I’m so much happier. I need to loose another 2.5 stone. My love life has improved immensely and I can buy clothes of the shelf again. Good luck

    if you want to lose weight, dnt waste money on slimming world or weight watchers. just have regular excercise and eat sensible. you know whats bad and whats not just get a little stricter,always eat breakfast and dont eat after 7pm.
    The key to losing weight is to be happy and build a good relationship with food, eat to live not live to eat. theres no point in wasting money on books and tapes, jst be happy and eat sensibly with regular excercise.

    right well you need to eat healthy for one, and two dont stop eating i know every1 says eat nothing but that never works eat all you can (as long as its healthy) and exersice walk the dog (if u have 1) once everyday, go swimming, go to the gym. good luck x

    If you ask me, none! The best way to lose weight is to exercise. It makes you feel more energetic, increases strength, burns calories, sheds weight and makes you happier as it releases endorphins. Combine that with reducing your intake of fat and away you go.
