What is the fastest way to burn belly fat and lose water weight?

I don’t want to lose all that much weight, just a little belly fat and water weight. Nothing to drastic.

I wouldn’t be concerned at water weight as your body does a good job of controlling that. Fat wise is consuming less calories than you burn. Eat less fat, saturated fat, hydrogenated and trans fats.

I wouldn’t be concerned about losing water weight as it will only come back within days. What you want to concentrate on is losing weight permanently and here’s how to do it.

There are two effective ways to burn belly fat and they are….

    1. resistance training – Focus on exercises that penetrate the abdominal wall indirectly instead of engaging the abs directly. For example, do woodchops with medicine ball, snatches with dumbells, and burpees instead of sit-ups and crunches. To be honest with you crunches and sit-ups are the LEAST effective method of achieving flat abs.

    2. Lastly, eat the foods that will flatten your midsection instead of foods that will get it thick and bulky. Here’s what to do:

eat natural, whole foods. Stay away from anything that’s in a bag, box or a can. They are usually loaded with sugar. You want to also stay away from refined processed carbs.

If you do these two things consistently for 2-3 months you’ll get nice toned abs. Visit the link below to get a 26 weeks workout plan that will help you achieve your goal.

if its water weight you’re after, just go into a sauna for a good hour or two and you’ll lose 5-10pounds. In regard to the fat, you should jog or cycle each day for a month and eat healthier if you already aren’t…that should do it.

Graze on healthy snacks. Just because you’re getting healthy doesn’t mean you can’t snack. In fact, eating small meals and snacks throughout the day, or grazing, has been shown to aid weight loss, (compared to eating three large meals a day), by keeping metabolism steadier. Pick snacks that are low in calories and fat and high in fiber (dried apricots, nuts, rice cakes, fruits, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and so on). Vegetables are generally very low in calories, very high in fiber, and full of flavor and nutrition. Avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes, and try to eat vegetables plain, without fatty dressings or dips. Fruit also makes a good snack. Fruit contains more soluble fiber than vegetables, which slows your body’s absorption of carbohydrates, thus releasing energy more slowly, (preventing sugar highs), and keeping you feeling full longer. Fruit juices are not a replacement for the real thing. You need that fiber, and juices often have more calories than the equivalent serving of fruit — as many calories as soda! Be careful with dried fruits, because without the water, you tend to eat more, and fruits, when dried, are calorie-rich per ounce. With any dry or dried food, be sure to drink plenty of water.

    Weight goals
Losing 5-10% of your weight is an ideal target, according to research. This can be broken down into smaller manageable steps, for example, 4-5lbs at a time. Remember too that just keeping your weight stable is a great achievement in itself these days. Losing modest amounts of weight are not just easier to keep off but bring big health benefits. For example, if you are overweight, losing 5-10% of your weight can halve your risk of type 2 diabetes.
