what is the best way to start dieting and exercising?

I never really work out and i also never tried dieting.
I would like to know what is the best way to start a good exercise routine and a dieting regimen?
I will admit i am not a healthy eater at all and I want to know what is good way to start eating healthier?

    People generally become celebrities because they do have good genetics, and
    often very genuine talent. That’s not to
    say that alot of them don’t also work on
    their diet and get lots of exercise. Great
    makeup, costume, lighting, good material also adds to the package. If you want to
    dance, do a lot of it; and also eat maybe
    1 meal a day (protein, veggie.. not too
    heavy on fats, red meat, sugar, carbs.)
    Eat your main meal earlier, maybe do a
    snack later. Real dancer bodies come
    from lots of dancing, a light diet, and wanting to work at it with passion.
    Drink a lot of water. Cut booze practically
    out. Get enough sleep. Some dancers
    do coffee, cigarettes. I think a little coffee
    sort of fills you up; but too much wires you
    in a bad way. Cigarettes kill appetite, but
    are horrible for your wind. Don’t go the
    pill-drug routine. If you drink, a glass of
    wine at long intervals, is probably your
    best bet; hard liquor is bad for your co-
    ordination; beer is definitely bloating. I
    think a little fasting sort of keeps your
    splurges in order, every once in a while;
    I am not talking about bulimia or anorexia!
    Do be age appropriate: a young dancer
    is going to have a much different body than one who is starting a great deal later.
