What can I do to lose belly fat and am I at the right weight?

I am 5 feet and weigh 140 lb.
I have a lot of fat around my belly.
I have a medium frame body but a lot of fat in my stomach.
What can I do to get this off.
I already am excercising.

Targetted weight loss is quite hard, many would say impossible, but the one method that really worked for me is wu-yi tea, it can be seen in the resource box below, they have a few free trials remaining, it has been featured in Fox News and USA Today. I melted away 25 pounds, it really does produce results!

With 37% of Americans overweight, it’s clear that many of us are not following the latest fitness guidelines that prescribe an hour of exercise a day. In fact, there was no doubt a collective groan when people realized they would now have to find an hour each day to do something they can’t seem to find 5 minutes for.
Cardiovascular exercise simply means that you’re involved in an activity that raises your heart rate to a level where you’re working, but can still talk (aka, in your Target Heart Rate Zone). Here’s why cardio is so important:

    * It’s one way to burn calories and help you lose weight
    * It makes your heart strong so that it doesn’t have to work as hard to pump blood
    * It increases your lung capacity
    * It helps reduce risk of heart attack, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes
    * It makes you feel good
    * It helps you sleep better
    * It helps reduce stress
    * I could go on all day, but you get the point

Bottom line: you need cardio if you want to get your weight under control and get your stress to a tolerable level.
I recommend doing cardio on your non strength training days. This way your body will either be primarily focused on building muscle (training) or burning fat (cardio). The maximum cardio sessions per week should be 4-5 days/week. You want to let your body recover and have enough energy to build quality lean muscle via strength training, so doing too much cardio (everyday) could hamper your results and lead to overtraining.

One of the things I have done for years is combine my cardio with “extra body part” strength training. One of the reasons I started doing this was because cardio is not my favorite thing to do…..so, I needed to make it interesting. Let’s say you want to get in some more work on your quest for “6-pack abs”…. This is different than “spot training.” The extra “ab work” is in addition to your regular full body strength training workout (preferably on a different day). And, you would only do the extra ab work 1-2 days a week. The workout would go something like this:
-10 minutes, interval cardio (sprint interval cardio on grass is my favorite)

–10-15 minutes, circuit training, 3-4 ab strength exercises

    –10 minutes, interval cardio

This workout technique is a proven fat-burner and my clients have had success with it.

    Good LUCK< Best answer here!!!

Eat a proper diet as well, the weight will come off faster.

To maximize this effect, it is better to eat 5-7 times a day every 2-4 hours to keep your metabolism active. It’s also easier on your digestive system to spread your daily calorie intake throughout the day than to eat a high amount in 2 meals. If you can find time to do it then do so, it’s not that hard if you have the time. 3 meals + 2-3 snacks (which a snack can simply be a piece of fruit). Your diet is more important than simply exercising. Losing a lot of weight in a decent amount of time is probably 70% diet, and 30% exercise, but working out will leave you looking much better.

What exercises are you doing? If you can weight/resistance train then do so. Lots of women think even looking at a weight will make them bulky but women really cannot look like a wrestler unless they are on something. Are you do cardio for at least 30 minutes 3 days a week? Lots of females also log on here talking about they do crunches, hoping to lose weight. You cannot lose weight in specific parts of your body, it doesn’t work the same way as muscles. Doing crunches will strengthen your abs but it’ll still be underneath the fat and you won’t really be able to see it.

Losing weight and the flab around your belly is a tough task but you can lose tons of weight if you know how to do it correctly. The combination of weight training and interval cardio training seems to be by far the best method. The main reason is because it blasts your metabolism and when your resting you are burning loads of calories. The article i posted below will shed some light on the matter.
