Best way to lose weight in the shortest amount of time?

Im 14 and weigh 170lbs. My height is 5ft 6in. I want to lose weight so i can get healthier. Please give me some tips on how to lose weight without starving myself. How do you eat less and deal with the cravings for junk foods. any tips?

    To help avoid cravings for junk food, eat smaller meals more often (5 to 6 meals a day). This will help keep you feeling full and satisfied.

    Also, add some exercising to your weekly routine. This will help burn fat and calories.

    you can lose about 50 lbs in 17 weeks. basically think 3 lbs/week then calculate for what you want.. i’m not sure how much you want to lose but 120 sounds like a good, slim weight for your height.

    with this plan u can lose 3 lbs/week. i follow it and i always lose 3 lbs, even 4 or 5 sometimes!!! but u have to stick to it and be determined to lose the weight or it won’t work.

    ok, so here it is. it’s long. prepare yourself! ^___^
    4 small meals a day! there it is:

    1) breakfast—1 yogurt, 1 granola bar, and orange juice
    2) 2nd breakfast (eat a few hours later)—a bowl of healthy flake or bran cereal OR a bowl of oatmeal with a glass of milk, preferably low fat or skim
    3) lunch—small piece of lean chicken OR turkey, a portion of: small carrots, broccoli, cucumbers, and lettuce…and eat this with a glass of water or cup of green tea(no milk, no sugar)
    4) dinner—1 banana, 1 granola bar, and a small glass of preferably low fat or skim milk

    OK! follow this diet plan very carefully for the next month. if u don’t have some of the food i mentioned, then replace it with something similar (examples: for lunch you could also have some rice or noodles and the vegetables, or a small sandiwch or some soup). you can rotate these similar meals to create variety for the lunches, but the breakfast and dinner should remain the same. this plan is very healthy and contains all food groups but the portions are very small because it’s a diet. you cannot cheat on this food plan at all or else you won’t be able to lose the 3 lbs each week…it is very easy to make a mistake. do not add any butter or salt or sugar or ranch or sauce to anything! make the chicken as healthy as possible…and the yogurt and milk lowfat or nofat if u can. if it doesn’t work with your schedule make something similar…same food/amount of food just in different times. its about 1500 calories per day, maybe more. good calorie number for a diet to lose a lot of weight.
    Whew, ok now…
    FOR EXERCISE: you can exercise for 30-60 mins and you will be good. you can do: swimming, running, or flexibility exercises. do at 1-2 of these options. flexibility exercise are back bridge, splits, swinging arms, jumping jacks, crunches, and leaps. however if u do for swimming or running you have to swim or run hard, so u break a sweat or feel very tired. ok, so done with that. DO at least 30 mins EACH DAY! except for that one day that will you will take off each week (like saturday for example). keep the diet going throughout the whole thing and do not eat giant chocolate cakes even if u want to give up. stay determined! if u are already in a sport or other, then u can ignore this exercise portion and just try to break a sweat/work hard in your sport.
    FOR MOTIVATION: tape a picture of a dress or jeans you want to fit into on your fridge or put the picture in your pocket. it could also be of an actress or model whose body you like and want to achieve. look at when u feel tempted to grab for the chocolate cake or just stay on the couch and not exercise. oh, and here are some good inspirational movies to watch:

    so they should give u some motivation too, my favorite is the first movie…it really pumps me up after watching it and i laughed and cried a lot over it! 🙂

    ok, there. i have provided u with everything possible that i know of to lose that amount of weight quickly and REAL FAT WEIGHT AND NOT WATER WEIGHT. make sure u check your weight each week to see if the diet if working, then make adjustments or exercise more. no cheating and don’t stress if u do, just don’t do it again.

    The “soup” answer is a good one, but make sure they are the broth-based ones rather than creamy. Chicken & vegetable or even beef barley are good choices.

    Another way is to cut your carbs down to about 80-100g/day. That’s not an extreme level, so you’ll still have energy, but you’ll lose a pound or two a week doing that, I love it because I can still eat eggs and lean meats as much as I want to which makes me less likely to get hungry. A handful of nuts will also help you avoid hunger.

    It is important to eat small meals every three to four hours to keep you feeling full. Make sure the meals include some form of a healthy protein.
