In a glass bowl measure and mix the following:
1/8 to 1/4 cup steel cut oats
    1 tablespoon raw sunflower seeds
    1 tablespoon flax seed
    1 teaspoon cinnamon

Add about 1/3-1/2 cup water to cover

Cook on high in the microwave 2-5 minuted until the flax seed is cooked

Optionally add milk, dark brown sugar, or a touch of butter

We use the Pyrex glass bowls with the dark blue plastic lids. We now have enough bowls that we can do the measuring for a couple of days in advance, cover with the lid, and put in the cupboard for quick use in the morning.

Oh, plain old fashioned oatmeal can be cooked in the microwave un a glass bowl too.

There are alot here are just some:
    1) Rasin Bran, Orange Juice
    2) Oatmeal, Apple Juice, Apple slices
    3) Toast with jam insteed of butter, milk, orange slices
There are alot more next time you go shopping look for quick healthy meals and drinks for breakfast and give them a try. Try and variate you don’t want to be stuck with Rasin Bran every day it will get old. Good luck and nice to know you want to be healthy.

    A smoothie:

    1 container of yogurt
Equal amount of skim milk (use the yogurt container to measure)
1 cup frozen strawberries (or 1/2 cup each of frozen peaches and mixed berries; or use less strawberries and add a banana.)
    *Optional* 2 tablespoons wheat germ

Blend until smooth and enjoy. You can even take the smoothie to go if you want.
