What is the science behind the slimming world regime?

I was able to lose 5 pounds in a week on the programme and have never had that success on any other diet…how does food combining work?

    It’s basically all crap and just a scam to make you spend more money on their ‘miracle cure’ (a bit like religion really). The most simple and effective way to lose weight is to eat healthy food in moderation and do some bloody exercise. I can’t see how that is so incomprehensible to people.

    I lost 8 pounds in my first week at weight watchers and they say its because its a shock to your body….but sooner or later your weight loss will Plato and you will begin yo-yoing Ive tried almost every diet and found the same thing happens every time….so the best thing is just healthy food and exercise.

    I can lose 5 pounds in a week just by cutting down a few things, I’m constantly on the loo, because it is water you are losing not fat.

    You eat good quality food that fills you up so that you don’t want to eat rubbish – that way your body regulates what it wants to eat itself without you feeling deprived.
