I’m having some trouble…losing a little weight; diet and exercise not working?

NB: Please, don’t suggest any diet pills or that I swallow a parasite or something. I’m not going to pay for a sketchy supplement to lose weight.
Alright; so I’ve had trouble for the longest time losing weight. I now jog 2-3 miles every single day; I have a small breakfast to start my metabolism every morning, a moderate lunch, and a light dinner. I rarely snack, and drink mostly water (if not, juice or milk). I lost some weight in the past couple months, even though when I stepped on the scale, it said I only gained weight. Then, when I started to exercise more rigorously, I didn’t lose any weight at all. I’m going to join a gym sometime, but with school and other activities, I’ll only be able to go to the gym a couple weekends a month. Am I doing something wrong? Can you suggest anything to help me lose about 10 pounds or so?

    SHOVE LOTS AND LOTS OF FRUITS AND VEGGIES IN YOUR FOOD! Like instead of the breakfast, eat a piece of toast with 3 or 4 fruits, and in your lunch put a lot if veggies in it. 🙂

    muscle can weigh more than fat. one exercise that will eliminate fat on your arms is sitting in a chair.. pushing your self up (only with arms) then lift up and out your bum of chair and go forward and your bum almost but not touching ground. pull back up and repeat. sorry thats all i got. im having trouble with weight and FLAB (ughh) too. good luck 🙂

    muscle weighs more than fat- aka, you gain muscle and lose fat and the scale could say you’ve gained weight.
    calories are all that matter for losing mass.
    fruits and vegetables are your best friends.

    you have to be careful with the foods that you are eating.
    lets say you eat a salad for lunch, it can end up being like 600 calories or more because dressing is so fatning. you need to limit the amount of dressing you put on. for dinner, try eating a peice of grilled chicken with some steamed brocolli but no oil on the broccoli otherwise its pointless. You sometimes also dont realize when you snack so be careful! also juices like orange juice are like 110 calories per serving and lets say you have 2 cups then you end up having almost 300 calories just by drinking juice. milk has 90 calories per cup so if you drink a glass of milk thats still somthing. of course you need certain foods but you have to be more aware of what you are eating because people often think they are eating healthy but there are just so many hidden calories out there. this is what i do (but im very strict)
    breakfast: either a small iced coffee with skim milk and splenda or some fruit
    no snacks
    lunch: a small fat free frozen yogurt (usually sugar free) or sometimes ill have a salad with tofu and corn and veryy very very little dressing or sometimes an eggwhite omlet (be careful with that tho)
    dinner: ill either have an omlet, grilled chicken, steamed chicken, sometimes turkey meatloaf, things along that line.
    and if i need a snack ill have some fruit.
