If your getting the band you should already know these kinds of things – They say 1-2 lbs a week is expected BUT that also depends on what you eat and if you do excercise, in saying that I had the band placed 6 months ago and have lost 73lbs, all from excercise and eating high protein. Talk to your doc if you don’t know all about it even though you should if your getting it this month

I did exercise weightloss disc and I lost about 50 pounds in not even 3 months. And I’ve kept it off for almost 2 years now. I found it to be the way because it pretty effective and you didn’t have to count points or anything like that. true . it should be 1 to 2 lbs per week (site below). and to keep it off you must follow your doctors guidelines and suggestions which are diet and exercise…basically being smart when you eat and don’t be a vegetable, be active, if your friends aren’t active, then you will need to get more friends who are.Some people are just unhealthy because of their peers and follow them. Do what is right for your body and you’ll feel better.
