what type of foods do you eat and what exercises do you do to lose weight fast?

i’m 5’3 160 lbs. i want to lose at least 20 lbs by january 2010
help me… i know very lil about fitness and diets.

    20lbs is a very achievable goal. It is however up to you to stay motivated and follow through to meet that goal.

    Eat lean protein, whole foods and avoid processed foods. Do cardio and strength training.

    I remember reading years ago that when the Christian monks fasted there was a component most of us today never knew. When they fasted they guzzled beer. Um, my attitude is the history of reaching for God is replete with, um, medicinals and er, such.

    Anyway back to the point. Getting on in years I’ve found dieting to be a frustrating almost self defeating self deprecating excercise. Check this out! Facing Labor day obliteration foodwise and never regaining my amplitude after the Fourth and Memorial day I remembered the Monks. Hmmmm! What did they know?

    I tried their thing and it absolutely works!! I started fasting and when I got hungry I drank two beers and my hunger left and I felt serene on my empty belly. Two is not enough to get drunk but just enough to take that bitchy low blood sugar edge off. Can’t believe this is true! I’ve found High Class expensive local micro-brews to be the best. Almost like medicine.

    Please try this. Drop your stupid commercial diet guru drinks for three days of simple pure wheat and hops. If it’s pure, it is replete with all sorts of phytonutrients. Women do keep in mind that long for long Stout has been given to pregnant women to start the milk flowing. So you uptight Christians back off.

    Try this for three days. Fast on small amounts of “Good” beer. Along with exercise, you can drop five pounds in three days. Without exercise, two or three, and your complexion will glow.

    Worked for me. Try it, what the hey!

    Now watch the goody’s jump on me. “Getting drunk is no solution to anything!” I never said get drunk! I said two beers when you get hungry. Your blood sugar will go up and you’ll be content until you decide to end your fast.

    First if you already haven’t, switch to diet soda. That made me lose at least 10 pounds in the first month because i drank so many! Diet Dr. Pepper is my favorite, that’s the only one i found that doesn’t taste diety. But water would be a better choose. Then i eat lean cuisine meals. Around 3 a day and i give myself set times to eat. Just because i found that i eat out of boredom, not hunger. So you don’t really have to that. They aren’t that expensive, at my walmart they are 2 for 4$. For snacks i eat those 100 calorie packs, pickles, almonds, dried fruit, cereal bars…i mean the list goes on. There is tons of food/snack food that are low fat/calories you just have to look a little bit harder. Ive just now started walking on the treadmill too, usually about 1 or 2 miles a day. That’s all for work outs, haha. I limit myself to 1000 calories a day. So far i tend to lose round 5 LBs a week.
