Stopping smoking, Need a lil advice?

Heya, I have been smoking for about 1 year and a half, and I have decided to pack in smoking tabbaco. I have been known to smoke as much as 10 a day, but normally keep it round the 5 mark.

I have stopped smoking since yesturday, I had half a cig ( couldnt help myself ) and 2 water bongs of skunk ( im not planning to give up skunk ) and today I have had nothing.

My question is when do the urges stop? I know that every person is differnt and that, but is there a round about time? Im really finding it hard, and I find that im feeling alot weaker than normal.

but phychology says if you want to forget a HABIT.
LET US REMOVE THE LATTER H
THEN A BIT REMAINS. LET US REMOVE THE LETTER A
    THEN BIT REMAINS,
LET US REMOVE THE LETTER B THEN,
IT REMAINS SIMILARLY HABITS CANNOT BE REMOVED IT REMAINS.

i stopped smoking 2 years, 4 months and 20 days ago. the urges stop around 4 months after quitting. i had two cigarettes after i stopped. the first one was a few weeks after stopping and tasted amazing. the second one was around 3 months after i stopped and nearly made me throw up, which helped me to carry on not smoking. now, im one of those really annoying people that hates smoking and everything about it (a total convert). i smoked at least 20 cigs a day when i was smoking so i used nicotene patches to help me quit but they’ll probably be too strong for you if you only smoked 5-10 a day. try the gum instead and after a week or so try swapping every other gum for a normal mint one and then gradually ween yourself off the nicotene gum. this will help your cravings to gradually get less and less until they stop. another thing that really helped me was eating mints. buy the strongest mints you can find and when you’ve had one in your mouth for a minute or so breathe in with it in your mouth, (like you’re taking a drag). this sounds weird but because of the strong mint it actually feels like you’re inhaling something and taked the edge of the craving for the habit of smoking. i found this really really helpful when i was somewhere like work or on the bus.

if you’re still smoking other stuff except nicotene then it’s gonna be harder for you to quit completely. normally the advice would be to remove any traces of smoking (lighters, ash trays etc) but you wont be able to do that. try and limit these things around the house and definately never have cigarettes in the house. you need to make it hard for yourself to smoke so it will help prevent you starting again.

quitting was the hardest thing i ever did cos id smoked for over 10 years on 20/day but it’s the best thing i ever did!
