What is the best way to lose weight fast for the Marine Corps?

I have been given A diet plan from my recruiter and have been running every other day but any tips on running, exercise, eating, anything will be helpfull.

    Stick with the diet plan, drink lots of water. The more calories you burn the more you have to intake. just remember to eat what is good for you and not just empty calories.

    Usually the water and writing down everything that I eat helps me out a lot.

    I lost 40 lbs in 2 months by walking for a couple of hours a day last year. I walked for 1 mile then ran for 1/2 mile then walked for 1/2 mile then ran for 1 mile then walked the rest of the time,and slowly increased to a 2 mile run. I did this 5 days a week for 2 months, I also cut out burgers, soft drinks, candy. I weighed 245 Lbs finally got down to 183 Lbs and started body building I weigh195 and have a 32 inch waist was a 48 inch when I started. Good Luck keep at it.
