What is a fat calorie? How many should I eat a day if I want to lose weight?

I know about calories and counting them, I want to lose weight, but I don’t know what a fat calorie is.

    Example: 100 calories.
    45 fat calories.

    A good rule of thumb is: keep the fat
    calories less than 1/3 of the total
    calories.
    This is good for controlling weight
    and cholesterol levels.
