How many calories do you need to burn to lose a pound?

I’ve set my mind to lose weight and want the most effective way. I’m considering just counting calories, and working out more. I was just wandering about how many calories is one pound?

    not only do you need to watch how many calories you eat, but what type of calories you eat (fat, protein, carbs…)

    Calories is a large subject when it comes to weight loss. We need to understand three definitions: the amount of calories in our food, the amount of calories a specific activity expends every sixty minutes, and finally our own personal daily allowance of calories.     I believe 3,500 calories is equivlent to a pound, eating a bit less would help to. lets say you take in 2,000 if everyday you take in 100 less and exersise for 30 minutes a day it should take you less than 35 days!

    I think as the others have said it’s 3,500 calories to a pound. I would suggest checking out or if you are a teen both of which are free. The provide you with articles that help you understand how to eat and exercise and just live a healthy life as well as tools to track your calorie intake and your exercises.
