Participate in your school sports, walk home if you live close, eat your vegetables and fruits… very basic stuff to start with.

Drink water as much as you can for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Exercise for a hour a day 4 times a week and try to restrict your eating to your daily recommended calories and other nutrients. It’s the all around solution.

Give up all sugar soda. That will be good for 5 pounds in about a week. If you are not in shape, start walking after school. Walk for 30 minutes to start and increase it as you become for fit, Then start sports activities. Drink water, eat the better foods. Good luck.

I would change my meal plan to focus on protein for leaness. also veggies over brownies any day! Also drink lots of water and no soda. In terms of workouts…aside from sports I would do muscle confusion workouts and plenty of interval training (low intensity then high intensity)…really effective for optimal results!

good luck. if you want more advice on nutrition and good workout plans visit http://i-dietandfitness.com. hope all the advice you get from people helps. it’s so hard to lose body fat but you’re young and will grow taller and it will happen so much easier. just change your lifestyle now to a healthy one! 🙂

Absolutely, get into some routine exercise.

    Breakfast:
An egg with whole grain bread or your half cup of oatmeal, millet is also great.
Lunch–whole grain bread with almond or cashew butter and a piece of fruit.. or can of sardines in water or tomato sauce–no peanuts as they have mold and a lot of people are really allergic and don’t know it.
Dinner–salad without dressing–flavor with oregano, cracked pepper, salt (Morton lite salt), crushed red pepper, small amount of nuts…
one serving of chicken, fish, turkey, or pork–stay away from deli meats–they’re high in salt. Do not drink diet drinks–they actually make you gain weight. No carbonated drinks either because they mess up your calcium balance. Use stevia as a sweetener. Back to dinner–definitely a vegetable like broccoli, green beans, collard greens, carrots, and small serving of potatoes, sweet potatoes or rice.

I think the best way to lose weight for teens is natural supplements. But before taking it you have to consult your doctor about the ingredients to make sure of it. Maybe you could try Crevax because it is all natural and safe to use.

Exercise for 15-20 minutes. If you have a weight problem, chances are you also have a problem with regular exercise. That’s probably because you tried to do too much. Just commit to 15 minutes a day. That’s not hard at all. And don’t do anything intense, especially for the first month. Take it easy — do a few crunches, a few push ups, jog in place for a few minutes. If you do this every day, you’ll burn 100-150 calories, depending on your size and metabolism.
