I want to grow out all my dry hair and start a healthy hair journey from today Any advice?

Yesterday I got my hair straightened at the salon and I know how BAD this is for your hair. Especially mine because my hair was dry before and I live in a dry climate. Now it’s damaged and dry and I want to start a healthy hair journey from today to grow ALL of the dry hair out to natural healthy hair. I am a very hair obsessed person so advice would be very appreciated!

I understand this would take years to grow out all the dry hair.

    here is one: leave conditioner on your hair for 1 hour every other day until it is good enough. Cut the split ends.
