Will a brisk walk of 2 miles a day with a balanced diet, will I lose weight?

I have just started an exercise program called leslie sansone walk away the pounds 2 mile walk, where I do the equivalent to a 2 mile brisk walk with some 3 pound weights and do various moves, if i do this say 5 times a week and have a balanced diet which I have also started, how much weight should I expect to lose?
ps, I weigh 14 stone (196lb) and am 6ft 1in tall

    Yesssss! Of course it will! Walking is a good form of exercising! And eating a balanced diet will surely help! The thing to do is not starve yoursef, but treat yourself! That’s the trick! Try it and it’ll be better! But I dunno about the wieght expected to lose bit, sorry.

    It depends on your personal variables.

    I always recommend to my clients that they don’t focus on calories or their weight in pounds. Focus on eating healthy foods, foods that are real. Real food doesn’t come in a box, can or package.

    If you go into a grocery store and shop along the outside aisles you will see meat, fruit, veggies, and dairy products. These are all real food.

    I also tell my clients to eat smaller meals more times (5-6) per day. When a body is starved it will store fat. When it believes that times are good (when it’s being feed good nutrition often) it will release fat.

    depends on how much you weigh to start with. If you are way over weight..you can probably loose about 15 pounds in a month..other wise about 2 a week the real trick to all of this is consistency…but then, you already know that..right??♥
    good luck…the walking will do more than just weight loss..do it with a friend 4 days a week…and see what happens!

    Without knowing how much you are eating, how much you weigh and what your BMR is (basal metabolic rate) this question is impossible to answer. Even if you provided all of this information, there are still too many variables. HOWEVER, it sounds like a good program. if you stick to it I gurantee you will see significant results. Good for you for starting a program. Stick with it to the death!!!

    That depends on how much you weigh….if you are not usually an active person and are overweight, you could lose a substantial amount of weight

    start out every other day then work your way up one day at a time but is a great way to start try going the first two weeks with out weight so you’re body gets used to the movement then start with a very light weight and work your ways up then try her walk jog videos the here express fur mile walk jog they work great but don’t limit you’re self to just walk at home videos do yoga one a week an of course try other ones as well and don’t be scared to ask a friend to join you have fun with it

    Experts say a safe goal for weight loss is 2 lbs a week.

    You will lose weight if you are burning more calories than you consume. So, how many calories are you burning walking like that ? How many calories are in your balanced diet? those are the questions you should ask yourself.

    Do not be discouraged if you dont lose weight consistently.. go to a gym so they can measure your body and after a couple weeks go back and see how many inches you have lost and celebrate that too!

    Really, a 2 mile walk even with weight’s will not lose you much fat. It’s mind over matter. You’ve got to change you’re whole lifestyle by changing you’re whole attitude.Much more excersise is essential like sit up’s getting some dumbells & do as many squats as you can. Use the dumbells at least 4 times a day if you want to achieve you’re goal quickly, walking isn’t enough by far. Stay on the go & when you’re doing you’re chores or whatever in the house, rush around, all this, esspecially your mind will reap you huge rewards & make you proud & like yourself again. What you have got to do is tell you’re body, that you hate anything fattening. That you want to have that lovely slim face & figure and look good again for good, you will only be truly happy if you want to do it. You can more or less eat anything not fried in moderation only. If you have chip’s just once,it can affect you’re diet completely, if you’re gonna do it, do it right. Go for it girl! and very good luck………….
