When we diet and lose weight, where does the weight lost actually go?

I recently started a new diet and although I’ve now started losing weight, I’ve no idea where the lost weight actually goes. I don’t seem to be going to the toilet very much more than usual, so could anyone answer this very puzzling question for me, please?

    Fat just burns and your body releases the toxins, it has nothing to do with going to the toilet lol.

    Your body starts to use the fat you have stored as energy to fuel your body ,so its like petrol in a car……
