Side crunches, not regular crunches, because side crunches work the LOWER abs aswell as the regular abs. PLEASE do me a huge favor and visit at least one of these sites about weight loss. If you click the ads on them, i would love you forever o.o

You can’t spot-reduce. Your body will lose it the same way it went on, but in reverse.

You need to do cardio 4 times a week and watch you diet.
You will lose fat proportionally around your body, so it is impossible to lose weight in just one place.

Here’s a good website to look at (even if you don’t want abs, it still has a lot of good diet tips on how to lose weight, etc.)

    =)
    Good Luck!

crunches off the edge of your bed. lay on the edge of your bed with most of your back over the edge and do crunches every time you come up lift your knees up to your head and breath out.
if you do at least 100 a day you will notice a diffrence it helps.

you cant target fat, so if you just wanting to lose weight in a particular area its imposable (other then surgery) when you burn calories you burn them throughout your body, the only was you can lose weight in your isnt going to be a certain exercise, its going to be watching what you eat and cardio, keep your heart rate up when you workout, examples- walking, jogging, bike, swimming, even just running around while doing a activity, when you do lift weights do them in a circuit type of routine, that helps to keep up the heart rate and strengthening your muscles. but most important is diet. hope this helps, good luck.

You cannot target weight loss to as specific area, and contrary to misguided posts here crunches and ab exercises DO NOT burn belly fat but they tone the ab muscles. Toning those muscles is good, but if you still have fat over them you won’t be able to see them.

You need cardio exercise to burn fat from anywhere on your body…my preferred cardio workouts are running, bicycling, and various aerobics DVDs including Turbo Jam and the cardio workouts in the P90X program (Cardio X, Kenpo X, and Plyometrics).

Cardio exercise (to burn fat) combined with a good ab workout routine, should leave you with a nice looking tummy eventually (depends on how much weight you have to lose, and how long it take to tone those abs).

I would have to say the nordic track ski machine which I have used for about 15 years. Even if I stop my routine for a while I always go back to it; It provides me with the aerobic exercise that I need as well as toning hips, thighs, calves, butt, and arms. I think it gives the quickest results especially if you have the time to do it more than once a day for at least 30 minutes. And by the way it burns fat around the waist also.

Try HULA HOOPING – ‘the cardio for abdominals’!!
it’s not that hard to learn and it burns lots using all different abdominal muscles

The results can be better than you believe – do it for just 10 minutes a day and you can lose as much as 100 calories. And this will mean that you can shed up to 2 inches from the waist in just 30 days.

you can also do pilates as they strengthen your muscles

    or try “belly waving” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li8NArR5M…
it aids the intestines to move food in your body – speeding up metabolism

water – drink at least 2 litres of it /day. It prevents dehydration therefeore water isn’t stored in your body (bloating stomach and places around ankles and all that lot), + it detoxifines the body and therefore helps to speed up metabolism

a natural way is also green tea – it boosts up metabolism in a natural way

try mixing flavours (it’s another TRICK WITH FOOD)- sour + sweet + spicy (you can make a drink – glass of water, squeeze 2/3 lemons, add 2 spoons of maple syrup and a pinch of pepper (ideally cayenne) or some tabasco – you can have it as i meal or a snack – such mixture stimulates the action of digestive enzymes therefore speeds up metabolism (+ is low in calories – based on water

eat plenty of fibre rich foods as they aid the movement of your intestines therefore speed up metabolism

it’s very good for tummy exercises (in fact u can have a look at many diet issues there) and they are clearly put down – step by step 🙂
    here’s an example

    a) For this exercise you will need to stand at a bar or facing the back of a chair for support at waist height.
    b) Stand with feet together and place your hands on the support.
c)Breathe out and tighten your stomach and buttocks.
    d) Slowly raise your body onto tip toe.
    e) Hold this position as you count to 5 while taking a deep breath.
    f) Breathe out as you slowly lower your body down to a squat position.
    g) Hold this position as you breathe in to the count of five.
    h) Breathe out as you raise yourself to the standing position and relax.
    i) Keep your back as straight as possible while doing this exercise.

    good luck

I have to say running. I run at least 5 times a week. I lost 4 stone nearly 3 years ago. Running has helped to maintain my weight loss since then.
