What should you do with excess saggy skin if you have lost lots of weight?

Has anyone out there been left with this problem? Is it worse than the weight itself – what’s the answer??

Unfortunately cosmetic surgery is probably the only answer to saggy skin after weight loss.

try lifting weights, it will turn to muscle.

It can take up to two years for the saggy skin to go away if it is going to.

How old are you? If you are under 30 drinking loads of water and massaging your skin with moisturiser may be enough. It was for me – I lost 137lbs when I was able to stop steroid medication at 26 and it went back perfectly. However when my belly was HUGE during pregnancy at 30 it gave up the ghost. At 35 I still have an overhang and am saving up for a tummy tuck. It may well be that it just wouldn’t do it twice so I would advise drinking loads and moisturising for a year before any drastic measures.
