what is the point in slimming pills when they have to be taken?
as part of a calorie controlled diet, Im not interested in taking them I was just bored in the chemist today and saw Adios, for weight loss. Don’t people buy these pills so they don’t have to diet. If you have to diet then you won’t need the pills.

you are correct, the pills are not needed. if you eat healthy and exercise you will lose weight without the diet pills all of them are gimmicks and make lots of money for manufacturers and if they worked no one would need to lose weight

I read an article saying that this one particular prescription diet pill (not Adios) only helps to lose weight of about 6 lbs a year. Non-prescription kind is only like 3 lbs. I don’t think it’s worth all the money and time taking the pills only to lose 6 lbs a year.

taking any of these “miracle pills” is just as risky as playing with fire. People should love themselves and come to a gym and workout three times a week for 45 minutes.

Exactly. With a good diet and exercise programme, you can save your money. Some (most) of these wonder-pills are full of caffiene and other stimulants; some have appetite suppresants like fibre; others contain dangerous substances. Look at Terry Schiavo, the American woman who ended up in a coma due to a brain haemmorage caused by diet pills!
The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. When you see “Eat all you want and still lose weight!” –just laugh and walk away. The only thing that’s going to get any thinner is your wallet.

The point of the pills is taking money from people who think they can just buy something, keep stuffing their face with pie, and they’ll lose weight.

Think it’s another commercial racket, it’s all in the mind, big placebo, just have the healthy diet that they recommend goes with the diet suppressant tablets
