If you are currently maintaining a constant weight, cutting 500 calories a day can cut one pound of fat per week. The least amount of calories you could have is zero. But that’s not healthy. Instead, eat healthy and often (small portions, 6 times a day will boost motabolism), drink lots of water, and get lots of sleep.

least amount of calories can be 800-1000kcal.. scientifically one can reduce up to 500kcal per day from a diet of 1800-2000kcal for a normal weight loss.. but for a fast weight loss you can safely turn to a 800-1000kcal diet.. if you turn to this kind of diet then you should choose foods which are nutrient dense so that you are not deficient in any nutrient.. eg nuts, low fat milk, egg whites, lean meat, 3-4 serving of cereal, veggies and fruits
