What is the fastest way to lose weight in a month or two?

I’m not looking for the dumb sarcastic answers like, Chop an arm off!, I would like to know how to maximize my weight loss naturally and possibly what foods help people lose weight. I am going to try out Weight Watchers tomorrow, so I am hoping that will help. If you can’t say something nice, please don’t answer. Thanks!

Weight Watchers is fine….I know two people that lost 100+ pounds on it…but even so I would simply advise you to get yourself an iPod and learn to enjoy walking. I started at 15 minutes and last Sunday I knocked out 3 hours at the mall without a problem…7.5 miles.

    Weight Watchers !!!
    I lost 50 pounds in 7 month.
Drink a lot of water. Eat smaller portions. It’s very hard in the beginning but then you get used to it. It’s worth it!

  3. My Answer For What Its Worth said :

Low fat, low calorie diet combined with regular exercise. Weight watchers is a great start, because you can consult with others in the same situation. Exercise is key. I count calories and limit my self to 1500 per day (Weight Watchers Smart Ones meals are great for dinner) and use an elliptical machine regularly (GREAT for burning calories). I have lost 35 lbs since February. Stick to it and good luck!

I’ve tried the weight loss pills like ephinedrine RX etc., I’ve gone running first thing in the morning everyday, in addition to doing light weights I would spend a good 30 minutes after cardio in the sauna sweating out any fat or extra water. I have done crunches during this month but usually after the second week after I have started my running. Running is the best option. However we all know that losing weight doesn’t begin in the gym…. it starts in the kitchen. So, in addition to the workout regimen, supplements, you must first and foremost consider your diet and stick to it. You can do an all-carb diet which many will say is not the safest but if your looking for fast weight loss in a month then it works. It does have mild side-effects. The carb diet which some of my friends have done consisted of an ALL-MEAT diet. Please keep in mind I’m not your dietician or doctor so do not take my advice literal. It’s for some and not all. You can make sure that you drink ALOT of water at least 8 times a day. Water and nothing else. Anything else usually contains way to much carbonation, sugar, or coloring which defeats the purpose of your weight loss no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. Another idea I tried was when I went running in the mornings (first thing after I did my personal grooming) was tape garbage bags around my waist and stomach and wore clothes over it. Believe it or not it helped me sweat alot too. Again losing water and fat that seaps out through the pores. You may also want to try facial and jaw muscles excercise techniques to help strengthen the jaw muscle and tone your face. This also helps loosen the fact (I believe) so that it burns faster. Well, I hope what I wrote has given ideas..

    Good Luck

I was just going to mention that increasing protein in your diet can help boost your metabolism (the guy with the really long answer before me referred to an all carb diet…he meant protein since meat is protein…not carbs…also fat does not seep out of pores) Good luck with Weight Watchers…I have know a few people who have done it and loved the results.

there is no such thing as a FAST wt loss program that works or lets u keep it off… nor is there a all carb or all protein or all cabbage diet that works… regular exercise, hard work, regular low calorie diet… Hints: regularity, consistency is the key .. don’t get discouraged. loosing and keeping wt off is a life long job for most of us. Quit white bread- go to whole grain .. eat fresh fruit and veggies when you can, You only need 3oz protein per day. IMPORTANT: It takes 2 hrs running stairs to work off one jellie doughnut….God luck!!

Drink around a gallon of water a day or more, if you can. Don’t overdo it, excessive amounts of water have been linked to illness. Don’t drink juice, gatorade, or any other of those sugar-laden sports beverages. They claim to replenish minerals lost during a workout but also deliver a large dose of sugar, and calories, in the form corn syrup. Drink water throughout a workout and eat a small apple when you’re done. Do some type of cardio for an hour four to five times a week. Three of four days per week do 45-60 minutes of light weightlifting and other excercises that focus on the muscles themselves. This will definately be what helps you to look leaner in the end. Take two days rest from excercise- not your diet- during the week or you will absoloutely burn out, probably throw in the towel and/or have a serious junk food binge. Eat five SMALL meals and two snacks throughout the day, i.e., 1. Bran cereal with skim milk for breakfast (I like Fiber One b/c it’s very low in calories and fulfills half your daily fiber needs), snack: peach,
    2. Serving of Chicken Breast marinated in Balsamic Vinegar, 3. Large Bowl of Dark Green salad with any combination of fresh vegetables- use a tablespoon of olive oil and as much balsamic vinegar as you want for dressing; snack- banana, 4. One slice of hearty whole grain bread with one tablespoon of natural peanut butter smeared over it, and 5. one or two cups of home popped popcorn-pop it in canola oil which is slightly better for you than vegetable oil; olive oil will just burn. It sounds like a lot of food but really isn’t. The vegetables will digest very quickly, and everything else is very healthy. How much weight would you lose if you followed this each and every day? Realistically, if you’re at a normal weight now or are just a few pounds overweight, don’t count on more than twelve pounds in two months. Strive for ten, and if you actually lose twelve than good for you. If you are obese however, you would easily lose that much weight. Good luck!

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you’re consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm

Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
    Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
    Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

Here are two articles on how to break through a weight loss plateau:
    http://www.webmd.com/content/article/86/99147.htm

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier.

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 10.5 pounds and 17 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 25 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing toxins from your body. You get toxins from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The toxins get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the toxins. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck!

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY’s Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don’t get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don’t get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying. Loose as much as you want to !
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

    P.S
Regular active exercise is advised with all weight loosing medicines and remedies 🙂 Take care
