What is the easiest way to become fit?

I weigh 94 kg and stand 6 feet 2 inches tall. I have a bit of extra fat on my stomach and chest but other than that I’m alright. What is an effective way to get fit? I work 5 days a week and go out on weekends so I dont have much time for gyms. I did join a gym for 3 months and I only went 2 times. It was far away and ridiculusly expensive. Tell me what food to eat and what exercise to do to just loose weight not build muscle.

Swimming. It helps all areas of the body and is by far the best way to stay fit.

Jump roping. 10 minutes a day. It really helps.
And while your doing that suck in your stomach. It saves energy.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

Sculling and rowing is good all around exercise providing results fast.
With your level of busyness, talking walks should be a start.

diet should be low carb and high fibres.

Push ups, sit ups, mountain climbers, jump rope, and buy a treadmill or take a jog. Try to not eat too much fast food.

well u can eat alot of fiber and more veggies. ease up on the meat.even if u work 5 days week u can still manage to do some exercise,in the night before u shower do at lease 40 sit ups and 40 push ups, thats what i do and i am in great shape .instead of joining a gym why not buy your own all in one exercising machine, its far cheaper and more convenient.

People forget about this one — jump rope! You will have to get a good jump rope though, which you can get at any sporting goods store.

    Think compound interest.

There are studies that show just 30 minutes of brisk walking a day can have more cardiovascular benefit than what joggers and runners get from far more intensive workouts. The point really is the accumulation of benefit from DAILY physical activity.

If you find yourself sitting to watch TV, grab your iPod and go for a brisk walk.

    Do that every time. 😉

It depends on what area of the body you want to work out, for example your abs-you could do crunches or get an AB Lounge
Also, lay off the junk food, crisps, chips, sweets, etc…

Start the morning with a healthy breakfast cereal, oatmeal, or toast without butter or margarine

Try snacks like butter free popcorn, fresh fruits or veggies, smoothies, granola bars, etc…

As for lunches, try caesar salads w/ lowfat dressing, grilled chicken sandwich, grilled cheese, etc….

For dinner, try to have veggies in every meal, along with a baked, grilled, or steamed meat for your protein

    hope tht helps!!
