you cannot “spot reduce”. in order to lose fat from your abdominals you have to reduce overall body fat percentage by eating less calories than you burn. a diet high in protein, low in fat and excluding refined carbohydrates such as bread and pasta is conductive to lower body fat. consumption of yogurt is also said to reduce stomach fat.

It’s all smoke and mirrors….there is no ‘best diet’. It’s all about calories. Now….some diets are better than others because of the amounts of fat and sodium contained in the foods you eat, but that’s more about heart disease and hypertension…NOT losing weight.
Just eat right (all the food groups, in reasonable portions), and make sure you’re burning more calories than you take in. Period.

The best way to loose belly fat is to do a lot of cardiovascular work. I thought I would NEVER wear a bikini again, but after 2 months of 30 min of hard cardio EVERY day, I was proud of my body and I looked GREAT in a bikini. If you want it to happen faster, greatly reduce your fat intake.
