    i dont believe there is a quick fix. better to eat healthily and exercise for long term results

    YOU cant expect to loose weight quikly and keep it off.The body has a mechanism that prevents this from happening.
    IF you strave yourself when you eat you will gain more weight that what you previoulsy had on.
    ITS CALLED SELF PRESERVATION.
    SLOW and STEADY is the best way to loose weight

    Well i decided to stuff diets.. they just dont work, i now only eat things that i know are healthy, i eat cereal for breakfast, tuna salad or similar for lunch and pasta or soup for tea. Inbetween i stuff out on rice cakes and fruit…. you really cant go wrong if you are true to yourself… iv lost 1st 7lb in 3 weeks, now tell me eating healthy doesnt work!!!!

    Small reasonable portions of food and become physically active. I’m not saying to run a marathon tomorrow but try to do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise each day. Gradually increase the intensity of your exercise. There is no pill you can take and sit on your a ss and expect to lose weight.

    You won’t lose a stone in a week or anything like that. But a month or two can see some good results.

    Find out what your daily intake of calories should ( not just 2500 for men and 200 for women like on the food labels). and cut 500 off it it.

    Eat small meals more often rather than 3 big meals.

    Eat until you are full not til your stuffed!

    Have a good personal excercise program from a trainer at your local gym (or if you want a change try boxing or similar).

    Don’t eat 2 many carbs (but don’t cut them out altogether) , and none at all late in the evening (you won’t use them and store fat).

    lay off choc, crisps etc.

    Just be sensible, eat healthy alternatives to your favourite foods.

    DON’T GET SUCKED IN BY MAGIC DIETS THAT BAN CERTAIN FOOD GROUPS BECAUSE YOU’LL END UP BINGING ON THOSE GROUPS.

    For your safety, it is important to go slowly if you want to loose weight permanently.
    1° just eat during the meals hour
    2° eat without sugar and a lot of vegetables and fruit
    3° drink 2,5-3 liters of water
    4° sport: in the beginning just quick walk and swimming, and little running, jogging

    and I’ll promise you after 2 weeks of this programs you are going to loose 5 kilos but the first are the easier.

    You need to be volunteer and persevering

    Stay away from magic diets and potions.

    Eat healthy, avoiding fats and sugars. As I say, watch what you drink for there is a lot of sugar in many drinks.

    The GI diet (Glixemic Index) is a good program that can help you in a natural healthy manner.

    Do some exercise, 30 minutes a day for 3 days a week at least, at a good heart rate. (cardio and toning)

    You will not only lose weight, but keep fit and slim.

    I have to admit I have a ‘stock’ answer for this question, since if you look it appears 20-30 times every day!!!

    Type ‘guaranteed weight loss’ into google, you will find 1 1/2 million sites!

    Look around you if ANY of these things worked would we be getting so overweight?

    We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don’t do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don’t use them up!

    Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg.

    Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?

    I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!

    No fixes pal , less in more out, its the only way.
