What is a normal healthy weight for a kid?
I am 14 years old and am 5 foot 2 inches. My B-day is in May. I’ve been going to the pool swimming laps every other day trying to loose weight…..I think I’m kinda overweight. Though I have been eating healthy the scale says I’m gaining weight not loosing it. Is it because I’m building more muscle swimming laps and loosing weight. It sometimes says I’m lighter and sometimes says I’m heavier and it is an expensive scale at the gym.

the healthy weight for your height and age is from 100 pounds to 130 pounds but to be slim is from 100 pounds to 110 pounds.
it’s true that when you’re exercising you gain some muscles so you gain and pounds.but these pounds are healthy.they are not fat so i think that you should keep exercising and stop worrying about the extra pounds.you just have to eat healthy and exercising and stop worrying for a number.
