What is a good weight loss program that will help me lose weight fast?
Well I am 13 years old and I weigh 155 pounds. I want to lose about thirty pounds before September. Any links to any websites that will help me start a weight loss program. look, just your question including “an obese teenager” shows you are insecure and embarrassed about your weight as i am. Im 13 as well and Im about 10lbs lighter than you, but our target weight is the same.
Anyway, you want to eat healthy and exercise. I’ve always wanted to go out and buy one of those super excersize machines that give you “flat abs in weeks!” but the harsh reality is there is no shortcuts or magic acai berry pill, just hard work.
I’ve stated losing weight recently and I have started to count calories, which is perfect, as you can alter the amout you eat and exersise as you get fitter and slimmer.
The way you do this is to take your weight (155 lbs) and times by ten, this is the approximate number of calories you can consume pe day. 3,500 calories= 1 lb. So you need to be eating 1550 calories a day. Of course this willalter as you lose weight.
Now you know how much to be eating a day, start to regularily exersise, for me its push ups/sit ups in the morning, and a good 1/2 on the treadmill at night. This is buring about 250 calories which is a perfect amount.
So now you only eat 1550 calories a day, and exersise 250 or more calories off a day, and sson you will see results!
Oh and to calculate calories:
1 gram of carbohydrates= 4 calories
1 gram of protein= 4 calories
1 gram of fat= 9 calories
1 gram of alcohol= 7 calories.

While it is completely possible to lose that much weight in that amount of time, you should consult with your doctor first before beginning any type of program. I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. There is also another issue to take into account.
I am not a doctor myself, but this lady (and she is a certified doctor) says that in case you have a problem with… – quite an ugly problem, I am not telling it here – then your attempts to lose weight will be just a temporary fix.
