Working out actually breaks down muscle, it doesn’t make it bigger. The only reason muscles swell at the gym is because of increased blood flow. Your only gains will be when you give the muscle time to repair itself, such as during rest.

No one gets muscle mass straight away. It takes about a month before you can see how your body has improved. Also it depend on genetics.

how much body fat do you have? if you have a lot of fat muscles develop under the fat and it won’t be visable unitl you loose the fat. that’s the reason behind all the low fat diets. i got a coworker who can reps 225 on bech press, but i can’t see any muscle b/c he has too much body fat.
