What are some good low carb foods that everyone in the family will like?

I just found out that eating low carbs will help with my PCOS. I’m just wondering what kind of foods (recipes welcomed please) are good and inexpensive that are also low carb. Thanks in advance. :o)

eggplant parmiagania is good without the breading.

bake some eggplant cut length wise on a cookie sheet at 450 for 35 minutes.

Add sliced tomatoes and top with low fat mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Perfect.

    Sarah,

I’m a Type 2 diabetic and, as such, really have to live a low carb lifestyle. The thing that I’ve found that makes the most sense is to try to incorporate as much meat as possible into everyday recipes and meals. There are so many things to do with meat as long as you stay away from breading and sugar-filled sauces. Meats are really filling as well, and get you to “full” faster than carbohydrate-laden foods.

What I really like to do is buy the meats that are on sale, and just be creative with them! I’ve found the crock pot to be an excellent tool for doing this.

    Hope this helps!
