Ways of getting fit when having problems with legs?

I have problems with my knees, as they dislocate quite easily.
I’ve been in physiotherapy for a year now.
But because I’m less active, my fitness level is low and I’ve gained weight.
How can I try and get fit and healthy without running or walking etc?

    Why not try Richard Simmons – Sit Tight: A ‘Sittin’ Down’ Workout. You can probably find the video/dvd on ebay for a very good price. It was designed for those that are wheelchair bound or unable to use their legs. Good luck!
