    1. Just over one stone (maybe 16 pounds).
    2. Probably about 6 months.
    3. Changed my eating habits and kept them up after I had lost enough weight – I have not put any of it back on and it has been about 2 years now since I lost the weight.

I bought a book telling me how many calories are in different foods. I bought a little notebook that I carried with me everywhere. I wrote down all I ate and how many calories were in everything. I stuck to 1500 calories per day. (I am female).

If you have a lot of weight to loose, you will loose more than me in 6 months as I did not have much to loose. I was not super strict with myself – still had meals out etc – but I stuck at it and it was worth it. I also went to the gym twice a week (and still do now) as well as trying to walk about as much as possible during the day.

I lost more than five stone (70lbs) a few years back. I initially was prescribed Xenical (which helped a lot) but then was told my BMI wasn’t high enough to warrant Xenical (sigh).

I used Trim Right appetite suppressants on the Internet and used them for a while – they also helped but then they stopped manufacturing them (the gods were against me ha ha).

So I was left with diet and exercise alone. I lost all five stone in about three months. Anyone who doesn’t know me wouldn’t believe me – but it’s true. Stuck with it and have kept the weight off. I’m now 8 and a half stone and I’ve never felt better.

I have started this Diet (lifestyle change) in the middle of November at 140lbs, and now at 117lbs

A DIET IS WHAT YOU EAT….there for we are all on a diet….
    THINK LIFESTYLE CHANGE

You got the change the way you think and feel about food

TRY THIS, and stick to it.

The first 3-4 weeks are the hardest until your body adjusts to the change.
Results will be in about the same time

    Fruits and Veggies

Eat more plants and keep away from stuff that was made in plants.

Don’t eat anything that comes in a can, box or package….
…..THEY HAVE ADDITIVES IN THEM THAT MAKE YOU ADDICTED TO THE FOOD…..
If man made it, don’t eat it

    NO white BREAD or SUGAR

NO PIZZA, I am in the pizza business, and it is not good for you, very high in FAT and Calories

    NO FRIED FOOD…

    Stay away from FAST FOOD

NO POP, SODA or FIZZY DRINKS

Walk your dog, or walk a friends dog

Don’t think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle change

I have lost 28.5 pounds in 3 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week….controlled portion….this really works………

Write down every thing you eat

    take a multivitamin at night

I lost 80 pounds in over the course of a year. I started by not calling it a diet ! I decided to eat only things ,I could understand everything on the labels another words ,if you can’t read it don’t eat it. I also starting exercising daily working up to a hr. with cardio every other day.I stopped anything containing sugar and cut out breads. If you are a soda person diet or not cut it out of your daily drinks. I also drink at least 1 gallon of water a day and drink a full 16 oz. before dinner.

20 kg, from 100 kg to 80 kg. Yoga, water, fruit. Seriously everyday morning afternoon and night, yoga and the belief you can lose weight as opposed to you can’t. You have to BELIEVE it works. Otherwise it doesn’t. Key part is believing, otherwise it won’t work,.

Stay away from fried food like burgers and fries, that should be once a week, like on a saturday as a treat. All these people that tell you, you can’t have that are stupid. You can definitely have it, you just need to balance your diet to keep on track. Once a week is not a crime.

I lost 3 stone in 10 month i was at 16 and got to 13. I done it by eating 1500 calories a day and cutting out ALL junk food, drinking 2 litres of water and walking for 45mins a day.

It was hard to get in at first but i kept going and still got a long way to go but i’ll get there in the end.

But i would love to eat a bug chocolate cake right now
    🙂

    1. 28lbs (2 stone….but since then I’ve put 7lbs back on. It’s stable though – probably due to muscle. It doesn’t fluctuate very much).

    2. 9 months. From the summer holidays -> Christmas is where I properly focused on it though. So more like 6 months.

    3. Ate less and ran….A LOT. Made conscious decisions to eat fruit instead of biscuits. Had salad everyday with seeds, seaweed, lots of vegetables etc.

    i started april 08
    from april 08- august 08 i lost 16 lbs. (156-140)
from watching somewhat what i eat and exercising a lot alot.

and then i stopped exercising so much when i started school again in september. and i lost another 15lbs. (140-125)
that i believe was done by limiting calorie intake and not exercising (which caused me to lose all the muscle i gained before)

and then by the end of december, i was down to 120lbs by restricting my eating and doing losts of research.

so in total, i lost 36lbs in technically a year, but it took a few months to go rapidly and then it flew.

    um some tips:
i believe i got it so easy because i did a lot of research on how to speed up my metabolism…

drink LOTS of water, it’ll keep you full and keep your metabolism running. water helps. and it’s said that drinking cold water burns calories because your body needs more calories to heat your body then, so i always drink it cold. chugging it helps too.

always eat breakfast, i never go without it!

i know there has been a lot of talk about eating more meals and if it really helps. but it really helped for me! try eating 6-8 small servings of something instead of 3 meals. it keeps you full, keeps your metabolism running, and as long as you have portion control, you’ll feel like you’re eating a lot more than you really are.

i try to avoid eating too much quantity at once, it’s a waste.

learn to love fruits and veggies.
i owe most of my weight loss to days of just eating peaches and spinach.
use salt/pepper to help spice up meals that are blah in taste, like veggies. or (it might sound weird) but add mustard to add flavor to some veggies, or other things. unlike other condiments, it has no calories. so learn to use it well.

fill up on low-cal foods, then you don’t have to feel so guilty.

don’t deprive yourself of sweets. find something to satisfy you when you have cravings, but not leave you way over your calorie intake. i used to drink fat-free diet hot chocolate after my dinner everynight and it really helped me not to want much sweets. it’s only about 25-35 calories per package, (depending upon which brand) and it’s not the most chocolatly flavor but it did the trick for me.

don’t deprive yourself of anything for too long, give yourself a break every once in a while, it’ll help your journey be much easier, and it’ll help this diet be muuch easier to stick with in the long run!

eat a lot of nuts, they keep you full and they help keep your metabolism running all day, just don’t get addicted like me, and then they’ll hurt more than help!

try to drink zero-calorie drinks only. well, water, or low-calorie things. i find that alot of my calories came from drinks (soda, juice, etc) those two both have A LOT of calories, so try to stay away! also, buy your milk, and other things non-fat. it really does make a difference with calorie numbers!

stay away from refined grains/sugar, they help pack on pounds. switch to whole grains and raw sugar, it’s easier for your body to work those off.

i’ve also heard to stay away from artificial sweetners, because they raise your insulin level and make it harder to lose weight. i used to drink A LOT of diet soda (dr. pepper) and i don’t really think i gained weight from it, because it really does help keep you really full. and so i ate a lot less. i’ve kind of gotten out of it, and now i find myself much hungrier, but i’m trying to stay away from those fake products.. but if needed, it would’nt kill you to fill up with stuff like that. just limit yourself.

i have a really wide body, so it’s weird being thin now as opposed to when i was heavier, and even after losing the weight, i still had a really flabby stomach. but doing crunches and leg lifts everynight helps so so so much. if you’re looking for a flat stomach. you don’t have to do much, i do about 100 crunches (in sets of 50) before i go to sleep everynight. and then occasional random ab workouts somedays.

hope it helps some! good luck!

I lost about 3 stone in 2 and a half months. I used 2 weight loss products:

Firstly, I used unique hoodia which can be found at http://track.moreniche.com/hit.php?w=135439&s=141 . It’s an appetite suppressant which basically stops you wanting to eat as much.

Then I also used proactol, which can be found at http://track.moreniche.com/hit.php?w=135439&s=38 . It’s a clinically proven fat binder, basically a miracle pill, just take it and the fat just dissapears.
