some great ways to loose weight fast?

what are some of the best ways to loose weight fast? I am not wanting to loose alot but just a little to get back in shape. What would be the best way to do so?

    Losing weight fast is unhealthy, aim for 2 lb maximum week.

    Try to stick with mostly unprocessed food. Try a diet of poultry, fish, green vegetables, whole-grains, low-fat dairy, non high fat nuts and seeds.

    Try to make every meal 1/2 vegetables, 1/4 white meat, 1/4 whole-grain carbohydrates.

    No soda, juice etc, just water, find your weight in kilograms and divide it by 20, that’s how many litres of water you should drink a day. Keep hydrated, if you get too thirsty your body will start storing lots of water.

    If you can manage it, try to burn 500-1000 calories every day (weekends too) and you should lose about 1-2 lb a week.

    Don’t bother with spot reduction (focussing on losing weight from one spot), it does NOT work, when you lose weight you lose it throughout your body, targeting a specific area is only good for building muscle in that area.

    Find out how many calories you need for your age, body type etc, ask your doctor or find a website that calculates it. You can eat up to 500 calories less than you need a day, which should equal 1 lb lost in a week alone.

    Splitting up meals into small meals often, keeps your blood sugar levelled out so you don’t snack and your body can process food better, I split my meals into 6, each meal being 250 calories, one meal every two hours starting at 8AM, my last meal being at 6PM, since it’s important not to eat within the 3 hours before going to bed. Try and do a similar thing, although i know it may be difficult with school or work.

    Don’t skip meals, especially breakfast, your body will go into starvation mode, slowing down your metabolism and making your body store as much fat as it can next time you eat.

    Take your time eating, putting your fork down and chew your food slowly, make sure there are no distractions like the TV, you need to concentrate on the chemical signals your body gives you to tell you that you’re full.

    Try to cut your “screen time” (tv, internet, gaming) to a maximum of 2 hours leisure time a day, it helps most people snack less and get motivated to exercise, go out, etc.

    Get enough sleep so your body can work to it’s full, that’s 7-8 hours for adults, 9-10 hours of sleep for teens.

    Good luck! and remember, a diet is supposed to be a lifestyle change, not just something you do for a few weeks and go back to your old ways, so you need something you can keep to.

    If you want to lose weight, you’ll have to do cardio exercises. Cardios include jogging, cycling, swimming and that’s basically all you have to do for weight loss. And fyi, there’s no such thing as spot fat reduction (something good to know).

If you don’t know what they are, then I’ll explain. Get into the position as if you were about to do push ups, but instead of putting weight on your hands, put it on you forearms. If you do this for a minute, you will really feel it, and it is even better, easier, and more effective than crunches. You should also go for walks if you can, and just always be active. Whatever you’re doing-on the phone; walk around. Listening to music; dance. The little things you do everyday really make a difference. Drink plenty of water, eat protein and fiber in each meal, because it helps reduce the net carbs. And don’t worry, if you lose what you want in a week, be okay with it.
