Most effective way of loosing weight in two days?

I’m a cox for my school’s rowing team, so I basically sit in the boat and steer whilst all of the rowers row during races. Generally, coxes are really petite and lightweight, so there’s less extra weight for the rowers to carry. The minimum weight for my category is 45 kg. I’m 60kg. I’m freaking out. I put on a lot of weight over the past couple of months, but it’s pretty unnoticeable, so my coaches haven’t figured it out. I just found out I have a race on Saturday, and I’m going to be weighed in at the beginning. If I weigh a lot, the teacher’s going to be a lot less inclined to let me cox in the rest of the year, and my entire crew will resent me for making it harder on them…
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to loose weight really quickly for then? I don’t mind if I put it all back on right after, I just need to find a way to keep my weight down that doesn’t involve all-out starving myself, laxatives or vomiting.
I usually try and eat as little as possible, but I heard from a friend that that method actually makes you gain weight immediately, and then it drops… I really don’t want to have to go through the weighing in again without being a bit lighter.
What should I do??

Drink only water. It’s totally a temporary solution, and extremely unhealthy, but its the only way in two days, short of liposuction. Once you stary eating again, you’ll probably gain wieght. There’s really not a whole lot you can do. Sorry.

You can sweat it out in the sauna…grab a sweatsuit from a sports store…ask a employee if needed..they are pretty common…..also if your gym allows it, you can bring a stationary bike in the sauna….trying to lose more then 10 pounds gets tough though…youll get very dehydrated and it can shut down your kidneys or liver if i remember it right…..Best of luck to you!!

Your best option is to lose all the water weight you can. Your cells and tissue naturally store water to combat dehydration. It sounds backwards, but drinking a lot of water will actually flush all the water out of your body and help you lose the excess water weight. It will also make you feel more full, so you’re less likely to eat a lot of food. This is not healthy. But in a pinch, it should work.

Also, my cousin was a wrestler. On the day of matches, he used to put a trash bag on (to keep himself dry) and run in place in a hot shower. This sounds really lame, but if he needed to drop an extra pound or two to drop down an extra weight class, that is what he would do.
