If you became fit from swimming would that also make you good at running?

I mean, if you become very fit from the amount of swimming you do, and then attempt a long distance run. Even though you havnt trained in running.
Would you still be able to run along way before getting tired out?
Or would you have to train in running too to get good at it.

not a chance ,a dedicated swimmer , can only work out in the water, it is a weightless exercise, running is a totally different event , the shock on the joints , in running takes a long time to harden & condition the body ,the breathing, is totally different
