    Depends how much you weigh now and how much excercise you do. You’d probably lose 5lbs max I’d say, Unless you’re very big.

    In the fast week about 4 – 6 pounds as U lose more water, then it would go down to about 2 – 3. But U should be eating more calories then that, and also eat little and often. Or your body will go into starvation mode and hang on to stored fat for energy. Also U will be more likely to keep the weight off if U lose about 2 pounds a week.

    youll be wasting your time, if you do that as soon as the week is up and you start eating the healthy ammount again (2000) your body will cling on to the fat as you will have starved it the week before and it wont know when it will be fed again. and if you decide to continue living on 1000 calories you will damage your body.
    Crash diets only end up making things harder in the long run!!

    its not how many calories you eat its how many you burn..

    if you eat 1000 calories a day you need to burn 1500 calories a day to lose 1 lb of fat a week.

    burn 2000 calories a day to lose 2 lbs a week.

    you should lose more than 1 to 2 lbs per week, its a healthy pace and your more apt to keep it off.

    it takes a burning of 3500 calories to lose one lb of fat..

    sounds liek your starving yourself, which is not the way to go..

    think of a camel.. camels store water in their humps to stay hydrated..

    so by u eating less your body is storing the nutrients and sustainemnt u need in your fat humps… eat 4-5 medium meals a days and regular exercise..

    the best diet i can think of that works is the caveman diet.. eat only things a caveman would.. ie there were no french fries then.. but a can of tuna would be acceptable. without mayo and mustard and all that other jazz.. a canibal , sorry a caveman, might eat raw bell peppers, but no fried okra.. get it? i used this typr of diet to shed weight when i trainined in boxing and as painstaking as it was,, it did work..

    its okay to have a meal 2 or 3 times a week to treat yourself.. to keep u from going crzay.. but instead of mcdonalds hamburger , make your own.. denying yourself certain pleasures does not prove will power, which is precisely what a person needs who wants to lose weight.

    using the special K diet
    (150 calories for breakfast + 90 calorie lunch)
    and being strict with dinner
    (you eat whatever you want for dinner)
    after a while i got weak
    and one night i totally binged
    now im on a healthy 5 small meals a day
    and exercise lifestyle. im not losing weight as fast
    as i was before but im sure this will last longer and i feel much better

    How many calories did you used to eat? If you used to eat 1200 calories its not going to make as big of a difference as if you used to eat 2000 calories.

    Its a bit of a WEAK idea to expect to lose very much weight in a single WEEK. Weight loss is a long term commitment that need the combination of diet and regular vigorous exercise to stand any real chance of success.
