If I only eat slim fast and nothing else will i lose weight very quickly?
I am doing slim fast and thought maybe if i have a week with all meals replaced by slim fast rather than just 2 then that might give a boost it a bit. What do you think?

No, you’ll feel really tired because you’re cutting your calorie intake. If you want to lose weight fast, do some exercise but not enough to build your muscles up enough to add weight.

Drink the slim fast first, then take down food (always). Just 1 slim fast a day for one meal only. The slim fast is to decrease the amount of food you intake. In other words, you drink a slim fast, which will fill you up a little, and make you eat less.

Rubbish idea, you’ll be nutrient deficient, suffer lethargy, mood swings, start peeing like mad, body will go into starvation mode and then any subsequent food will be stored as guess what —FAT ..

Not a good idea because first of all you will be hungry. Secondly you probably will end up constipated because you need food to keep your digestion going. Stick to a diet that has lots of fruits and vegetables. You can never eat too many!

Sounds depressing and probably won’t work anyway.
Not eating right will play havoc with your metabolism. Best to start eating moderately healthy and exercise at least twice a week.

If you only eat slim fast you’ll damage your health and any weight you lose will probably come back. Get on track.

I’ve has some success using slimfast to replace breakfast. But, 3 slimfasts a day isn’t what you want. As others have mentioned, if you cut down on food *too* much, your body basically goes into starvation mode, storing fat. You need to exercise a bit, and make sure you’re getting proper nutrition. Slimfast recommends a shake for breakfast, a shake and something smell for lunch, and a “sensible” dinner. Weight watchers and slimfast works really well together, you may want to check that out. After all, if you want to lose the weight and keep it off, you’ll need to practice eating healthy all the time. May as well start now, right?

if all you drink is slim fast, but drink 10 a day, you still get too many calories, and don’t lose weight. trim your eating habits up (don’t call it a diet – then you think it is temporary). look for hidden calories in condiments and liquids. stick to it. get some exercise, both cardio and weights. change the routine once in a while to keep it interesting. let yourself eat junk occasionally! otherwise your crave and splurge.

I’m a bit of a health freak and this isn’t your best option for losing weight…
I managed to lose 2 stone in 2 months doing the following things:
1. Drinking lots of water – don’t force yourself to drink tho!
2. Keep eating! – Look at what you currently eat on a typical day and question whether you should be eating it or not. Is it healthy and needed or just for comfort?
3. Exercise – do what you can, when you can and do something you enjoy. Gym’s are great, but better with a friend.
4. Have a routine – I eat 3 meals a day and snack regularly (no crisps tho – they are pointless! eat some more potato with your dinner if your that desperate for it lol). I still eat loads of rubbish food but when i do i promise to work it off in some way: this may be either at the gym or walking to town rather than by car etc… again whats right for you. *It’s ok to indulge in ‘naughty’ food but know when enough is enough*
5. Give it time – you’re not going to be slim after a few weeks, give it time…have patience…and set yourself targets.
Whether you agree or disagree with what i say is fine with me…my personal experiences.

You might lose weight quickly, but once you go back to eating normally, you’ll gain back all you lost and more besides.
There is not magical answer for weight loss, you simply have to change your eating habits. I suggest Weightwatchers, that’s a good guide.

Sure go-ahead! You will end up malnourished and not achieve the look you want. If you’re lucky you will be okay but more likely you’ll be extremely ill.
Dietary abuse is stupid and shortsighted. Please just eat the normal balanced diet and you will be fine. Just move more – and have fun doing it!

NO! Do not only eat slim fast! You need nutrients, vitamins, energy etc. etc. You will not get what you require from slim fast products alone. These are supposed to supplement your diet, not replace food! This could lead to serious health problems… here are some tips to help you to lose weight:
Diet:
As I am sure you know already, cut down on all fatty foods, drink 8 glasses of water per day, eat 5 fruit/veg per day and choose low fat options.
You could try joining a club such as weight watchers as this will give you lots of diet plans and help you to stay motivated.
Exercise! :
You should ‘exercise’ for a full twenty minutes at a time, five days per week to stay at a healthy weight.
Remember, don’t over-do it and certainly don’t try to lose weight too quickly. The more quickly you do it, the more quickly you put it back on. Also, it’s not good for you to just ‘suddenly’ start exercising vigorously. Do it slowly and that way you will be able to keep it up and not put the weight back on.
The best exercise for burning calories is cardio-aerobic. Jogging, cycling, poer-walking, swimming, aerobic dancing or general aerobic workouts. However, strength-training is also important to increase muscle-fat ratio.
Exercise does burn calories but it takes a while to lose 1 pound of weight! However, exercise is essential to maintain weight loss and maintain your body at peak efficiency.

you may but you will pile it all back on again, you wont feel well and lose all the nutrients your body needs. plus youll probably feel sick as it tastes crap!

All I know is that I use slim fast. I have lost 13 lbs in a little less than 4 weeks. The first week I lost 6 lbs as with any new lower calorie life style, the first weeks sheds the weight the fastest (probably water). Anyway, I have one for breakfast, then before lunch, some fruit. At lunch, I have one with 1/2 turkey or chicken sandwich and carrots or some kind of veggie. Before dinner a fruit and then a regular dinner but not as much food as I used to have. It is working for me in the right way. Not a fast weight loss but every week a loss. Years ago I did slim fast the wrong way (three a day and nothing else). This made me so sick that I missed a week of work with a terrible stomach sickness. Follow the directions and it would be wise to ask your doctor before doing anything with weight loss.
