I agree. Find a BMI calculator online and use it as a guide to finding your healthy weight. From there, I suggest looking into the South Beach Diet. My mother and some of my best friends have used that diet before and it works wonders. It really teaches you a lot about food and your body as opposed to just telling you what to do.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Depends on Your age, you can do a lot of damage to your body if your not careful. A all purpose way of losing the proper kind of weight would be exercise, I know that it is difficult, but if you keep track of your of your plan, like running, walking, bicycle ridding, swimming and any kind of movement, whatever you do,keep it up and try to do a little better each time, if you slip back on repetitions that,s OK just get back to it when you feel a little better. Well the guy before me was right in the fact you need to know your BMI. The next step is to understand how the human body functions in relation to food, exercising and weight loss. The way to loose fat with diet is not deprivation, you need to maintain as much muscle as possible. Eating 6 smaller meals throughout the day is better than 3 big meals. Always eat breakfast. Here is a web site it cost 1 dollar for the first month just cancel after that, he has exercises you can do at home and meals for your particular number of calories that you will need. Just make sure you eat healthy and chew your food thoroughly. When you eat fast you don’t give your stomach enough time to realize it’s full so you end up over eating, but when you eat slow and chew your food thoroughly you give your stomach time to realize it’s had it’s fill which let’s You know you’re full.
